The sliders are in fact based off of the drawbar system for classic hammond organs, extending the drawbars on these models increase the sound. So no its not upside-down but yes it is wierd lol

MS2000 is a nice synth

I had one in the 80ies and later gave it to a friend. At the time I found it a bit dull, I didn't know it could sound so interesting with effects. Great video!

Wow, now that brings back some memories. I bought one of the earlier models used back in the early 80s. It was my first real synth. Had a lot of fun playing with the patch programming. I remember that machine gun sound you hit on at one point in the video. I also got it to make a noise that sounded like a weird bomber flying over, dropping a bomb, and then the bomb exploding... all triggered with one key press. Had a lot of fun with it, and learned a lot, too. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Hi, I'm from mexico and buy the same keyboard (but not the srm) in just 100 pesos (about 10 dollars), is a wonder this synthesizer, the ring sounds have bass sounds dirty and very rude, I certainly I call wildcat

excellent demo.. Have a mkII myself... inspiring. Glad to see someone also liking the CC300 pedal. It's a boon of sound for no money. I have 5 of them hooked up to various organs and strings.

Always love Jambo's video. I'm apparently getting my SRM back from the tech tomorrow with VCO1 working again, keyboard cleaned,everything else fixed and a filter switch mod done for type and slope. It's a good thing they're worth a lot of money now (especially the SSM2040 SRMs which mine is) because the bill is apparently going to be about 1000 US. Thankfully only paid 500 USD for it about 3 years ago "working perfectly" on Ebay. But I'm so excited to have my baby back tomorrow. Finally.

Thanks for answer : I ve just purchased one the same in excellent condition. It has arrived yesterday and now I m testing it. I ve dismantled the tubes that it had and I ve installed 3 xSiemens ecc83 nos and 2 x el84 Mullard nos -all tubes are 100% . It s FANTASTIC - one of the best amp I ve had ! Now I d like to have a technical specs schedule about it , pros and cons, everythings. If you know more about it let me know.Now I ve to go ,I want to play it-Thx Again Bye Steve

@drystef Sure, of course you can. In fact since this is an older amp without a controllable pre and post gain stage, the only way to get an overdriven tone is to turn it up REALLY loud. Even then you'd probably still not have this much saturation. In this video I'm using a Digitech Badmonkey overdrive pedal with the gain dimed. If I bypassed this the tone would have been rather clean.
