  • For all you synth lovers out there, here's a demo of the KORG PolySix.
First video and more to come - this is more of a run down of the features and what makes the PolySix tick more than anything else so expect to hear more of it in action in the next video.
Hope you enjoy it anyway...or can at least understand the accent.
    Cheers guys. :)

Hello from Glasgow. This is the first Scottish synth video I've seen!

I've used this synth in the 80s and 90s, but it died, and I'm still weeping. Thanks.

    hey jambo!
i have one, in fact i "learned" how to use a synth because of it.. wonderful sounding synth! i really need to fix the keyboard or instal midi!
AND i had a scot for a roomate for 3 years, i got really good at mocking that accent and would never confuse it!

Keep on talkin'! Nice to actually get some information instead of just 5 minutes of listening to someone play the thing. Keep it up!

Well it's designed to be used with a pedal I think, but I'm sure it says +5V next to the input on the back panel - so providing the control signal is in that range I don't see any reason why an ADSR module wouldn't work.

If you don't like it, then don't watch it! Simple as that. Or better still, make your own one.
On that note why don't you go check out Jexus's videos? Maybe they will be more up your alley.

I found this video to be helpful, and I appreciate you posting it. Don't listen to the assholes out there who have nothing useful to contribute.

Why don't you try reading the title? It's called a "demonstration". Why don't you go and watch one of the many other videos on CZcams of people playing but not explaning the Polysix? This is a little different.
In fact why don't you get your own Polysix, mircophone, audio interface and web cam and devote a few hours of your day to make your own damn video.
