Hello from Albuquerque! 👋 Thanks for the video, it's beautiful around the river!
Was that a cable lying on the bottom?
I’m not sure, it does look like it. Almost looks like a steel rope.
At 6:35 I see a dragon in the rock!! How incredibly beautiful this place is!! Thanks for taking me along with you!!
Yes, I can see it! Wow
Cool!!!!! Also, how do you make that torch?
It’s using 100% cotton cloth wrapped around the wooden branch, I tied it using a thin wire and for fuel I used 92% rubbing alcohol
@@israelperez8166 I always wondered how that was done
Indiana Jones "Indi, Indi"
Yeah it is like indiana jones, I just haven’t found the treasure! Lol
Great video!! New subscriber here. I'm down in Hobbs, New Mexico USA
Hi! Thanks for watching!
Anyone wanna see geronimo grave it is located at Fort Sill, oklahoma.
,👍
Gave a 👍 on both vids to ask: is there an actual radium spring around there? If so, have an address?
Is there an actual radium spring around there? If so, have an address?
Thank you for the comment. That’s a good question, I know there is a place called Hacienda Del Camino Real in Radium Springs. It’s a privately owned land that they have a hot springs in it. I’m not sure what there story is but they have been trying to get there property into a legitimate business but they keep getting denied by the county. If you look them up on Google maps it will say it’s permanently closed. Now I’m wondering if there are any other spots that are public.
@@israelperez8166 Nice, ty 👍
Imagine being in that cave with no lights we Indians were a tough breed 😮
i love that trail, i am on it constantly
Yeah it’s awesome! It’s hard to get around, there’s so many trails!
Ohhh mannn super cool, 🤝😎
I thought the Indians stayed out of caves because they believed they were openings to the underworld??????
You thought wrong
The areas behind the cave to the right and above have from a past video looked to be the ruins of a past cultured civilization imo .
We’re did he hide his horse ?
Inside with him. Horse outside is a dead giveaway.
Thanks for sharing! There is so much to see and do in this part of the world.
Awesome
EEK bats! Gotta get out!!!🤪
Yeah I did hear one flying trough and I knew it was time to get out!
That's not the end! There are vertical drops!😮
Yes, I went back with a friend and saw one of those vertical drops. It looked lite a 100 foot drop! Lots more to explore!
excellent video; thank ou! nice drone footage
Hello 👋 from Arkansas
Hello!
According to Geronimo’s own testimony, the cave goes all the way through the mountain. You can Google his autobiography and see for yourself. We used to call the bigger cave to the south Geronimo’s cave but it’s just huge and doesn’t go completely through the Robledos
I live about 5 miles away and I heard the army blasted the cave sealing up the cave,Geronimo and his band of 37 Apaches fought off the u s Calvary here,2-3,000 troops ,why isn’t this mentioned?
BELCH OOOOOH ME!
thanks for sharing this so I don't have to go in there!
THANK YOU for sharing this hiking opportunity! We ventured out there today and thoroughly enjoyed the moderate 2.5 mile RT hike. Your driving directions were spot on. Couple of pointers......when you reach the river turn LEFT and drive down a bit to cross the river on foot. When you cross the river you then cross thru the trees on the other side of the river bank before you get to a trail. Depending on where you cross the river you then turn right before you find the trail head. It's NOT a well marked trail head. Do NOT follow All Trails to the trail head. Look for a small pile of rocks on the left side to denote where to turn and begin the trek upwards. Once you start heading up you won't go far before you see a wooden post as the trail marker. Great hike!
There is another cave in White River AZ.. that Geronimo used as a hide out. I'm surprised no one is talking about it..
No there isn't.
@jerrygreen3818 Maybe it's close to the public.. but I been there, and the Apaches there call it Geronimo's cave..
Great video! Keep pushing your channel; content like this will eventually get a following. Cheers
No it won't.
Fascinating story 👍
Nice man and guts going in there alone 👍🏼
The dude doing the video with his mouth open at the beginning and it's just like weird maybe he wants bats to fly in his mouth. He looks overly excited about a hole in the ground. Geronimo cool but this guy's a little weird
No one has explored for treasures :
The lost treasure of Geronimo!
I laughed when you said Friday 😂 the 13 and you also kindly joked 😅
Geronimo had a lot of caves named after him
I hiked the slot canyon and Geronimos cave a few years back. Me and a buddy camped out on a ridge leading to the cave. I watched the sunrise from the cave entrance. It's too bad all the damage vandals have done. It probably would have been pretty amazing before all the formations were damaged. Great video man. Keep hiking!
No you didn't.
@@jerrygreen3818 lol. What an odd reply. Why would you doubt someone camping in the desert? Lol
I lived across the river from the cave as a child. Good times on the river.🎉😂
Cause Jerry has nothing better to do than troll. lol And I think it's awesome you camped there. My grandfather was part Apache and his mother was from Gila Co. in AZ. I have never been able to see these areas where Apache lived as I was born and raised in California. I'm always curious to see these areas. @@gabrielaguilar1391
@@Acadian.FrenchFry thank you! It was fun. I hope you get to see your ancestral homelands!
These mineral were Stalagtites, but some morons took them out for souvenirs.
Like you.
Is their still fish their
Yes! There’s hundreds of them!
Weres the spot I've been looking but I can't find no fish please
Looks like there are many tunnels, I wonder if any go all the way through and out the other side.
I went back with some friends and found out that one of those tunnels has a drop about 100 feet down! Will definitely need more gear to see where those tunnels go to.
It is said they the tunnels go Thur the mountain....but did it collapse? Can a person fit, and it is known to be a maze, I doubt many if any have fully gone thru since Geronimo and his people...
Geranimo didn't need no damn flashlight, he had peyote
Thanks for sharing🥰
I wonder how Geronimo did it without LED lights ?
He had a jar of lightning bugs
You should've looked around for some artifacts since that spot is known in native American folklore, im sure many camps have been there throughout thousands of years. I find artifacts here just outside of my house next to river, any flat places you see that when it floods it covers up an area, just look around the erosion spots for shiny rocks sticking out, or rocks that have been worked, and pottery out there stays on the ground forever, unlike here where its tons of hardwood trees, and steep hills next to rivers and creeks, but arrowheads are everywhere, it's unbelievable how long ppl where living on the same ground over and over for thousands of years
its not that cool if you dont keep going... sissy
Be sure to let us know when you make it there to the cave. And see how far you go in the cave by yourself😁😁😁
I prefer to be alone in a cave... its kind of weird with two....
@@rossmcgill8432 nah, that's where you and your boyfriend go to make out.
Hey buddy I have a fishing pole I don’t use as much if u want it !
Awesome video !!
Imagine, Geronimo didn't have access to a flashlight back then, what do you suppose he used for light inside the cave?
Us natives don't need lights ..😅
Fire 😂
Spirit guides
He lit farts.
He had matches and lit his farts.
Pretty cool! I wish idiots wouldn't tag everything.
Need better lights like the mine explorers use so you can see everything
No fear, just stinky fish?!🤔🤮
