Robledo Slot Canyon Hike Las Cruces, NM

Join me as I cross The Rio Grande to get to the slot canyon in the Robledo Mts. This is in Doña Ana County, New Mexico just northwest of Las Cruces. This place was named after Pedro Robledo who died May 21, 1598 and was buried nearby. Hope you enjoy the video. Don't forget to subscribe. Thank you!

Yeah it’s cool. I even saw a spot where someone had set up a campfire at the end of the canyon. It would be great for camping too!

Just did this hike last weekend. Evidently there is a social trail out of the slot leading to the peak of the Robledos. Very good video and story telling.

Yes! There is so much to see. I was told there is a cave called Geronimo cave. I’ll have to go see that too!
