@@manilyntemporas7374 Most people here fish for rainbow trout in the spring and early summer. In the summer months people fish for catfish and carp. There are large mouth bass, and crappie here as well, but I personally have not caught either one.

I'm glad you like this song with the vocal chops. That was a commonly used technique for complextro in the 2012-2015 era of electro music. I'm glad you liked this song to have it play 3-4 times in a row. I really like this song as well. Which is why I ended up sharing it, even though this was an unfinished song.

It seems like the summer months are good months to try for catfish at San Pablo from what I heard from other fishermen. July - September might be a good range of time. I hoping this year to try and go fishing for catfish.

@@oliverc-wj4vh I’ve heard nightcrawlers and shrimp being used. I’ve heard both work, but shrimp maybe more effective for the catfish. You’re welcome for the tips. I’m still learning the tips as well.

I was happy to see action that day fishing. The fish bites are sporadic. I guess it depends on when the school of fish swim around the area. Those are two good sized trouts. I also like when the trouts hit hard, and knock the bobber off the line and jump. That is the ideal trout bite or notifier.

@@simba9725 I agree. It has improved but the fishing is still slower than previous years. I have heard that from other people I have talked to as well. I bake the trout whole in the oven. With some garnishes in the cavity of the trout. How do you cook your trout?

It was fun. Poke Poling is a simpler form of fishing, but it is fun. I tried the eels after my first time poke poling in the past. I was not a fan of the taste of the eels. It is an acquired taste that I do not have. They are fun to catch or catch and release though. Thanks for the comment.

It was a fun day fishing on this trip. It was a warmer day, and most people on the bank caught at least 1 fish. I'm glad that my friend and I caught a couple fish to take home. It was a fun trip out fishing, and the weather was amazing. Which makes fishing worth while.

@@Yeeflex It's fun to go on a day when it's not too cold or hot, and when you catch fish it makes it more fun. I don't expect to catch anything but when I do, it makes the day better. I'm hitting it again Mon 6th, going to use the circle hooks and size 16 trebles. I'll let you know how it goes.

@@simba9725 Sometimes the wind makes it colder and a bit harder to enjoy. But still being out in nature truly is the best. I agree that I don't expect to catch fish either on each trip I go on. I'm sorry that your view is different from mine. I will say that this catfish in this video was released shorty after catching it and measuring it. I probably could have handled the catfish better. That is something I will note in the future. The Catfish swam off and survived after I released it. Even though we have differing opinions, thank you for leaving a comment with your opinion.

That is good to know that they planted on both sides of the reservoir. From previous experiences, I heard the fish plants were more on the boat launch side. Thanks for letting me know.

Did not realize there was a fish plant earlier this week. I did not realize there was carp on the boat launch side. 8 trout caught amongst the trout fisherman throughout the day is pretty good. Interesting that it was a lunch time bite for the trout. That is good to know that the trout are not biting hard and swallowing the hook. I've had times where the trout spits the hook out even when you set hook on it. 2 Lightening trout and some Mt Lassen trout's are nice to see caught. I've seen a few trout's this year bigger than 1 1/2 pounds, but not as many as previous years. Thanks for the update! I always like seeing your update comments!
