Hello everyone. This was my 2023 opening weekend fishing day at San Pablo Reservoir. The weather was really unpredictable on this day, and that made the fishing conditions tough. Luckily it's the first trip, so it was more like a test trip to see the conditions of San Pablo at this time of year. There will definitely be more fishing recap videos in the future, so look out for those. Enjoy!
by any chance how is the water clarity is it still muddy ?
@@oliverc9763 I have not been there since this trip, but I will be going back again very soon. I'll try and let you know the water clarity after my next trip to San Pablo. Thanks for the comment.
@@oliverc9763 I went on 2-11-23, water still brown with 2-4inch vis.
Oh wow. That’s good to know. I figured it would be brown for a little while. Hopefully the water clears up in March.

I went there yesterday and today, no bites at all.
That is pretty tough. The bites have definitely been slow. Hopefully the bites get better in March.
