Please, do go on an album dive. They don't disappoint. And their concerts, it's like nothing else. Just like the casing Tyler decorated in this vid, they put so, so much into their live shows. But the dif is it's so not a miss. We get it. And we love it. All of it. And I think you get it too and will love it all as well. Would def recommend My Blood, Holding Onto You, Chlorine, Migraine, and Car Radio for strong vids outside of the Storyline. Then just do all of it. It all fits and works together so well. Their artistry is evident in everything they do. And the only part I take exception with in this vid (the mv, not your reaction) is that SAI was a miss. I get why they think that, but I think Tyler's being too hard on himself. A lot of us love SAI, I'm def one! Been playing it on repeat in my car since it came out. It was “a miss” in that it wasn’t initially well liked by some in the clique critics because it was straight pop and didn’t have the edginess some expected. Brutal

Okay, now that I'm caught up and I know what you've seen I'll let you in on some Fan Lore I guess you would call it. It's stuff that's not specifically said in any videos. It's just things that we put together ourselves. The storyline is spread across four albums. It goes blurry-face, trench, Scaled and icy, and now Clancy will be the final chapter. The black on his throat and hands symbolizes his insecurity. He's insecure about what he writes, what he sings, what he says and the black is the representation of that. Anytime in the songs where you hear a super deep voice that is blurry-face talking or Nico is his other name. The line from backslide that says I kind of wish I didn't do Saturday. He said in an interview that he wrote the song Saturday to be more pop. He wrote it for the specific reason for to be something that's played on the radio and he said it felt like he betrayed his fans cuz that's not normally what he does. He doesn't care about his music, getting famous and album charts and all that stuff. I think the last thing I can think of would be that if you look up Nico and the niners they are real people they where a group of I think mathematicians. I haven't really read into all of them, but that is a real group of people and also the bin symbol that he references in overcompensate Nico's and the niners created that.

After Ren got the number one album in the UK, BBC1 played this on their station for about the first week because it sounded the most “pop”, little did they know they werent listening to the lyrics😂

So for some fun fact/lore. Whenever you see a picture or performance by them. Tyler is always standing to the right of Josh. The only time that they switched is in the scaled and icy album and it is a nod to them being controlled by Dema. Also, it is normally only Tyler and Josh on stage. This is also something that changed in scaled and icy. It just adds to the feeling that there is just something not right here

I actually think this is Ren’s cheeky little flip-off at popular music. It’s a light bop filled with tongue in cheek innuendo…. And if you listen to the album, the bit at the end that sort of “goes limp” flows straight into “What you want” which starts with “Oh my god, music these days is like, soooooo lame”. You will not be disappointed by their concert. They are very big on making a good enjoyable concert. If something is wrong they will stop the show and get it fixed because they want it to be perfect. And it's pretty close to being perfect.
