    My Spool filter did the same thing. Only, the glue from the filter seized an injector and melted a piston. Stick to quality filters and change them often!

    I'm not even criticizing, but I have to ask is the factory girdle actually stronger than the main girdle you removed or something like that, or was there another reason for the switch?

    I remember reading the results from a header test years ago, that compared which parameters of header design made more power. Out of everything (primary size/length, merg type, collector volume/length, etc.) they found NOTHING provided more horsepower than a well-designed merger spike and a longer collector merge volume. Screw all the complexity. Use whatever primary diameter you need, but use the longest/smoothest merge collector you can build to fit whatever space you can find.

    Awesome stuff dude! One thing I want to point out is if you put a section of small metal pipe as a standoff and run that through the part instead of using captive nuts; you can get better clamping force without risking compression cracking the print!

    Yes I made my comments without looking at your previous videos. SORRY the big question is where is all the oil ending up. Yes I think your girdle looks fab. Under acceleration where does the oil end up ? which side of the girdle plate is it same with deceleration ? I guess you have thought about how quick it is draining through the girdle do you need to open these holes up, that's why I asked if your oil pump is a high volume could it be sucking out the oil quicker then it returns to the sump ? If you have replaced the oil pump go back to the stock pump, it has to be something simple or it could be change your grade of oil your using Kiwi Rod

      We are no longer running that girdle plate because of the insufficient drain holes. It is not an oil drain back issue. It's just a really shallow pan and all the oil rushes away from the pickup. I tried adding baffles, but that has not helped.

      @@Calvin-Nelson you just about have a dry sump so continue with the scraper plate & add a external scavenger pump catch tank with swerl pot etc, midget & sprint cars go through similar G forces Kiwi Rod

    sick i missed a lot God bless you 2. an old racer told me to use tractor wet brake hydraulic oil so i look into liked what i read up on it so i run it in my 4l60e and is300 daily works great i look at the oil data says the flash point is higher than normal atf .if i was doing what your doing i would get bobcat brand and use it bobcat stuff is a good formula so they say

    VW VR6 is 15 Degree V6 with; 7 main cap, single head with 20 studs in tight pattern , the size and weight of a 4 cylinder, dual overhead cams, the coolest sounding engine due to unequal length intake/exhaust runners odds to evens, and lots of aftermarket support! if you really want your mind blown look at a bentley W12...

    I had that exact same issue on my 2010 SS. Ended up replacing the entire site wiring harness (which was discontinued in 2016 or so) and that didn't really fix it. Took it to a dealership and they replaced the windows motor, regulator, and module which fixed it. Turns out some of the wires that connect at the door can be broken from stress and age. If one of those parts go bad it kills the entire door.

    I thought I noticed the oil pressure dropping off at the top of the dyno pulls in the other video. No stopping momentum in that situation, might be sucking the pan dry as well at the top of the RPM range?

      We through more oil in the pan. Didn't seem to help on acceleration. Might be cavitation. Hard to say. Haven't seen it on other builds so it's weird.
