I don’t know about this my son is autistic I am a long standing card holding member of the other end of the spectrum A.D.D. Formally diagnosed since 1992 and I’m a girl they put me through hell as a kid for my well quirky nature now I had a child with severe non verbal Autism and I am going to school for Health information and technology giving me a crazy inside to the workings of this whole situation and no I am not perfect no parent is but I do let me child just be him and I refuse to put him in situations that masking is even thought of if my kids stemming so be it if he is social so be it if not okie dokie love you kid you just beat that drum or don’t it’s his life just please please please be happy and know you were loved that’s all I pray for.

P.S., there are 2 genders. All the "others" are simply the only two genders twisted into a gray area between the two. Also, our reproductive organs indicate 2 genders by nature (even though some rare birth defects can occur), and only 2 genders -- male and female -- can reproduce. Gender confusion is a different topic, a deep rabbit hole, part of the NWO conspiracy (in a nutshell: it's very easy to control gender-neutral-confused humanoids who are dumbed down and fully dependent on the state for everything. It doesn't take rocket science to read the WEF and UN plans that are openly visible, and realize what they're up to).

It took a caring, unself-interested person I had feelings for telling me they were Autistic, and recognized me as Autistic as well, for me to accept it could be true.

I’ve done very well as an autistic man. I have many friends, and am a university graduate (a legatee of Gough Whitlam). I struggle to be accepted as a person who thinks and acts differently. I struggled in the 1970s, and in the 1980s without the support from the universal healthcare system. The privatised employment fail autistic people. I was expected to be a successful Anglo-Saxon/Celtic typecast.

So, if I can't get a proper diagnosis, and only my psychiatrist told me she saw signs, it's still valid? I feel like having the paperwork would help with hr at work. That's the part that worries me.

Didn't see anything unusual in this video. I find the frustration and the overwhelm about this job impossible to do very understandable. I do, by the way, think, that even in a neurotypical situation this format would not have led to results. You can't express an important matter in half a minute. No one can. But exactly this needs to happen when 20 to 30 people need to be heard in 15 minutes. Probably would have been better to go in from the start with the realistic expectation to actually only talk about *one* of the points within the given time. And *maybe* get a result. What I was missing: an actual description of what you did in this meltdown.

I find it hard enough to keep up with what's going on with one wife and a couple of kids, let alone two wives! You described me quite a bit in this video... except for the two wives... one wife at a time is enough for me!

Thank Orion for validating the Autistic experience, something the world invalidates daily and on every level. It's crazy that in the so-called age of inclusivity, Autistic people are completely excluded from all discussions on inclusivity. In all my interactions, although we're all speaking the same language on the same subjects, it's like my side of things goes through a broken telephone process before it comes out. "two different operating" systems sums it up, there's no give and take, my operating system is just wrong. I'm especially disliked at work for my need for structured information, when everyone else is happy with vague, semi-coherent instructions. Everyday is a new, fun-filled, uphill battle with precisely zero progress. The feeling of being a burden comes from observation, the frustration exhibited with your peculiarities by those around you, your inflexible boundaries, your highly structured requirements for communication, your need for love and acceptance, the depression that comes from rejection or unreciprocated love, the response when you need to vent.

This is why it may have have been a blessing I didn't get kids - though it still doesn't feel that way. I would probably have been chronicly out of spoons. Btw, we also use the concept long weekend here on the opposite side of the globe, and understand it readily. Anything where you have more than 2 free days in a row for whatever reason (even personal ones like taking back hours after working overtime).

Love your videos Orion, hope you will find your way to get more spoons 🙂 I think the spoon analogy is fine to explain how energy levels work. I think it's also about holding the spoons and mayby learning tricks to finding new drawers of spoons along the way every day. Some days you only have 1 spoon when you wake up so my first task would be finding 2 spoons to get my day started. Feeding my pets gives me a few to get to the next task.
