Because no one ever seems to get it right...Colm is not pronounced like it looks. It's closer to Colin but with an M on the end (Collum). Irish people tend to add a helper vowel (linguistic folks call it epenthesis) when there's a challenging combination of letters. It's not unique to Irish folks...think of Scottish folks trying to say "burglar"...it becomes "bur guh luhr" or a lot of folks across varying linguistic backgrounds will add a syllable in "decathlon" turning it into "de cath uh lon". Might seem nitpicky, but imagine going through your life with everyone mispronouncing your name...hell, Cillian Murphy had to win an Oscar for a lot of people to learn that his name wasn't Silly Ann!

I like to think the ending hinted verrrry subtly that Nate might be closer to on the outs than we thought. How? With the clothes Andy is wearing. No, she's not wearing designer clothes anymore, but she's not wearing her old clothes either. Because THAT'S the real impression the job left on her: finally understanding the importance in putting some effort into your appearance, even if it's only for yourself.

The pursing of the lips is WHY she moved up the preview! She KNEW it was going to be a catastrophe. We see her looking right at it in the sketch book right when Andy walks in.

I was in middle school when this movie came out!!

Funny, you should mention Joker. The Mask was originally a mini series put out by Dark Horse. They did several mini series of the mask. They also teamed up with a couple of other comic book companies. One of who was DC now the Mask/Lobo was a fairly nice mini series but not more thsn meh, but the Mask/ Joker. Now, that was great. When the Joker got the mask he spent 3 and a 1/2 issues just wrecking Gotham and at the last moment.Batman appealed to Jokers ego and got joker to take it off.Apparently joker and Doel come from the same brain factory.

Saw this when it came out & I remarked to a friend, "Wow! That skinny henchmen is so intense. And frightening! I think we'll be seeing more of him in the future". I'm happy to have been correct. Connery is my favorite Bond. And I think Dalton, specifically in this movie, is 2nd fave. He was handsome, charming & debonair but could be brooding or rugged when necessary. I had noticed him way back in 1971's "Mary Queen of Scots" as the sleazy, villainous Lord Darnley opposite Vanessa Redgrave. Great film. And even before that in 1968's "The Lion in Winter" with Peter O'Toole & Katherine Hepburn. I was a kid but admired the whole cast & still consider it one of the best films ever made. AND the theme song from this film is in my top 5 Bond themes...the others being.. Dame Shirley Bassey belting out "Goldfinger"... Sir Paul McCartney's bombastic "Live & Let Die"... Sir Tom Jones' "Thunderball" (more belting)... And Nancy Sinatra singing "You Only Live Twice". Her voice was a little thin but the song itself is beautiful & atmospheric. Loved your reaction, guys. And the post-movie discussion. And I agree about Robert Davi. He was a believable villain & even though he was so vicious I also found him strangely charismatic...something about how he openly admired James & seemed anxious to charm & befriend him. Benny the Jet worked on this movie as a stunt coordinator and he would keep John and Danny break in a different area from the other actors. When Danny asked him why he said it was becaus he and John could fight for real and those guys were just acting as tough guys and he didn't want them hurting one of the other actors if someone tried to mess with them.

The guys name is Rob O Neil who killed Bin Laden y’all should watch one of his podcasts where he tells the story of killing Bin Laden he’s an amazing speaker and the story is incredible!

Little Carmine: Master of the Malaprop

I love the movie, however I think Denzel's finest performance was in the Rubin Hurricane Carter movie. The physical and mental metamorphosis Denzel went through in that movie was off the charts.

Watching you watch this, I must state that you have a very accurated view on movies. The analytication of the film was quite astout. (ouch, this hurt to write... 🤣)

Richie was a total psycho and had those "Manson lamps" or whatever it was Tony called them (the mad dog look in his eyes); Ralphie was just as much a psychopath, but his derangedness is usually hidden under a thick layer of pettyness. Calling up Paulie Walnuts' mother and pranking her in the worst way, telling that horrific "joke" about Ginny Sack (a lovely lady by all accounts, who didn't deserve that.) It's interesting that that off-color joke almost caused Ralphie's unnatural death, but Johnnie Sack felt magnanimous and had him spared. Amongst a pack of unfeeling antisocial gangsters, that's pretty unique. :D Btw, THAT scene between Carmine and Paulie (I can finally talk about it! :D), that's why I've been maintaining Johnnie's just a bigmouth s--t-talker, not some big spider in the web type character like some people like to maintain. :) He tells people what they want to hear, not how things really are. He did it to Ralphie previously, and it almost blew up in his face back then too.

Carm is realizing through Meadow all the things she sacrificed by choosing Tony as her husband. By choosing to be a mob wife & an accomplice to mass murders. Meadow earned a legit life & is free to do things Carmela can only fantasize about. She’s realizing she lives in a prison with almost no options. Not even the option to feel genuine affection from another man. Even her little crush was vaporized in a flash. Meadow has accomplished & learned more in 20yrs than her mom in over 40yrs.

I like to think of Calling All Cars as The Sopranos "Halloween Special".

Definitely my 2nd least favorite Season on the show behind the 1st Season, I think the episodes “Whoever did this”, “Strong Silent Type”, and “Whitecaps” saved it from being a Bad Season as they were GREAT episodes, the rest of the episodes were good or ok to me, but I’m excited for y’all reaction on the S5 and good work completing another season Flix2Us👏

I love your videos, I wanted to watch The Sopranos with my mum, as I've seen it 100 times, but I've lost my DVD's, but this is a great substitute. I can't wait until you guys get to the end. Edie Falco did a fantastic job with this episode! I don't however feel sorry for her character because she knew full well what she was getting into! If Tony was a regular Joe that wasn't wealthy she wouldn't give him the time of day! But a millionaire gangster murderer, that's a turn on for her! Thanks for reacting to this great show! I lost my Mom last year and I enjoy the relationship you have with each other! Enjoy your break!

Another good one. Little Carmine is low key hilarious. His mispronouncing words is genius comedy that never got the credit. Anyways, well done. Always easy watching and most importantly listening to mom and son. Good intelligent points and reactions. Take care.
