Nice work.
But you don't sell them on there own, you have to buy a Beam to get those ?
Correct. Too many variations for us to make them fit and OEM set up. We control the tube, we control the bushing, it works every time.
No details on the installation 👎🏽
Haynes, chilton or VW Shop Manual will go through those specific steps or you can view one of the 500 other videos we did on the subject Mr. Thumbs.
Why there is washers and spacers needed on the pedal roller!!! Empi cannot make one the right things ever!?? 😠
If you built it to fit one application, it will not fit the exact same on another. It isn't built to be that finely tuned as you might expect. It's up to the end user to get it where they want it.
Thank you for Sharing the amazing work, and one day i will have your chassis under my beetle here in Canada.
Nice works guys

music is very annoying
there is a button on your phone or computer to lower or mute the sounds right? 😘
Really tight build. well done. Really hate the headlights, though.
Hate....Damn. Thanks for commenting.
Hi I'm from south Africa, I have a 65 bug,, we're can I buy this shocks,,, are they fir the back as well, and is there any modifications need or just instal this shocks tank and compressor.
We don't have any shocks that will fit with out having the kit installed, sorry my friend.
Whats with the finger snapping shit???🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱
Supposedly magic although it wasn't working that day.
5 stars great work
That music sucks and it's way too loud
Two button options. Mute or volume, my apologies.
Yeah…👍🏻. I’d like one.
What year and model my friend?
1967 VW Bug. What is your tube thickness for the cross tubes? I hope their thickness is a little better than stock.

I have question about a clutch cable....I got the old one out but i cannot get the new one into the hole to push it in to hook it up and wonder if there is a easy way to do that ? I have been trying to get this clutch cable in for about two weeks now and still cant do it. Is there a trick to it or some easier way to get that in ?
Depending on the year will depend on the location of where the cable will enter. backhanding the cable by feeling for the tube and routing it by hand has always worked in the past. You can try installing one of these - www.airkewld.com/Chassis-Inspection-Plate-Kit-2701-p/2701.htm and it will make it a breeze. Good luck.
It is a 72 super beetle
@@jamesbaber1582 Do you have a mirror and a flashlight? Put the mirror in the pedal assembly hole in the tunnel and shine a flashlight at the mirror to locate the tube. Then it should be easy to locate.
I finally got it in the tube but it keeps getting stuck towards the end of the tube and having trouble getting it completely threw now
I wonder how hard it would be to install an either a 901 transaxle (type 4 Porsche) or a 915 (from a 911) into this chassis. I have a 72 beetle that I want a high output type 4 or a 3.2 911 in to my beetle.
No idea my friend.
me and my sons 1966 beetle that we have been working on for years to get road worthy, we are newbies to the vdub scene!!!!!! Love all your products and your craftsmanship is some of the best out there!
But what about the shock mounts?? @airkewld
What about them Mr. Big?
@@AirkewldVWs 😆 Well I did a little research after having made the comment.. I was unaware that people were running VW’s w/o front shocks. I recently purchased a 69 with the narrower front beam and it’s made with no upper shock towers / mounts. I’m interested in fabricating something but it’s a full steel body, so the towers would be coming up into the trunk area! Unless I can angle them outboard for clearance. What thinks you? 🤔
@@bighammer587My question is why are you wanting them? If you aren't building a cruiser, swap out the beam to a version that has them. If your are just building a cruiser, tell me why you think you need shocks up front.
@@AirkewldVWs Yes, she’s a cruiser.. I bought it with a seized engine so I haven’t driven it. I was under the impression that to be streetable, it would need shocks to keep it from being so bouncy! But maybe it’s not the case if people are doing this. I have no idea why someone put this front beam in the car, it’s not even lowered 😆
@@AirkewldVWs I’m an old school guy, this is new to me. My last bug was a 66 bug that I had back in the eighties. We called it “slammed” back then because it looked like a scrubbing bubble. But that was before the lowering spindles became available, AFAIK. It had a nice stance, but nowhere near what people are doing today.
I need this on my 57

Im building a 70 beetle convertible and your builds keep me pushing and motivated to complete mines thanks really cool stuff
Thx Hector.
Looks great in what you are doing, but we cannot see what you are building and cannot hear you. Need some floodlights and better audio and don't mumble your words.
We have done this several times on this channel and we didn't want to do the same thing over and over again. Please check out our other videos and they will go into more info than this one.

Wonderful job. I have a VW bug 1970 made in Brazil.

Is there no need for inner needing bearings on the swing arms?
We use Delrin bushings, we don't use roller bearings.

How do you keep a carpet bench clean?
We don't work dirty. Everything is cleaned before we touch the parts.
Well that wasn’t too helpful.
Hmm....
Pads are easy if you heat them up first.
Great tip, Never though of that. Heat gun or microwave for a few seconds?
Well that makes a difference for sure. Thanks
awesome i like it
Been after a complete system for my 64 Bus!!!
Absolutely beautiful piece of artwork my 66 has been sitting for about five years and I wish I could afford to have one of these friends put on. I want to drive it again. It’s got really really old school technology and a hack job on lowering it maybe someday, love your channel very informative and through my progression of healing from pancreatic cancer. I love watching anything VW specially your channel kudos to you guys.
I just picked up a dune buggy, with a Corvair motor and trans,, this one is a total hack job and not safe? Can ya help? Front half is a 61 VW, back half is 64 Corvair
