Why you measure BEFORE you INSTALL a PRObuilt Beam in your Classic Volkswagen | Drive-Train 101

- The Classic Volkswagen never knew that something this nice could work this well.....the PRObuilt Beam from Airkewld. You always need to measure the vehicle to have a baseline before getting into the installation. If your car is crooked to begin with, it might be crooked when you get done. Better to know now than assume it is with new parts.

Nice looking Vert!!
Great advance to start with a base line.
My car was not in a state I could get an accurate measurement sadly before disassembling
???????????
What are the question marks for?
Just curious why the before measurements. Alignment? For installation of a new beam.
@@tracygrant7226 LOL. I literally say why in the video. To know if the car is crooked before installing the beam. Everyone back in the day would blame the new parts. If you check before and you are crooked, chances are when you put on the new part, it will still be crooked.
Wow must have missed that with my noisy background when I watched it. Sorry. And thanks
Hmmm... You never answer the question of why in the video. You do in the description. The video itself is rather pointless.
Bruh, these videos are nuggets. look at timeline of Airkewld videos there you will find the answer.
@@brewitup cool, will do.
Pretty sure I said to make sure it isn’t crooked before installation. Heck, I could be wrong. Let’s go watch it again together 🫱🏼🫲🏻
Yeah, I catch that now. I was expecting something more substantial. But, regardless, I really appreciate you uploading these videos and I enjoy watching them.
@@addictivecode Appreciate your viewership Andrew. By the statistics, no one really likes substantial videos from us.
