Fast CNG Peterbilt 520 McNeilus ZR Garbage Truck #4097
Thanks to Mr Bryan C! For showcasing his new truck 4097 and how cool he is with the joystick. Its always a please to see him and 4097 brings a smile to my face. Anyways here's the second new-ish ZR if you recall my last video of 4098, this 4097 started service in 2023 around September i don't remember exactly. I first found him in December in the first clip, that was in Tigard on a Thursday. Then the rest of the video was filmed in 2024 in Sherwood on Fridays.
You may notice in some of the clips that the front wheels were changed. I certainly did, and when I did, I asked the driver Bryan about them and he said they Pride shop had put new tires on his truck for some reason. So instead of exchanging the tires on the nice alloy wheels on the front, they swapped them out with those dirty not so good looking wheels. That disappointed me as it took away the look but oh well. I know they had also put new tires on 4098 around the same time but with Jorges truck, they gave him bright shinny alloys and kept the factory nice looking front wheels. Just thought I'd point that out.
As previously mention in the description of the previous video of 4098, this here truck 4097 is the normal one and the fast one out of the 4. (4096,4097*,4098,4099) Theoretically, these 4 should all be 2023 Peterbilt models. With the nice facelifted design that 4098 has with its headlight trim. Still I am unsure why 4098 is the only one to receive that when these 4 were ordered at the same time and showed up at Pride one after the other. With that out of the way i hope you enjoy the video of this nice truck working and that's all i have to say Thanks for watching!

How is the rear glass box unloaded
The glass boxes on the rear have hydraulics that open the bottom of them. The trucks are simply backed onto a platform where they can dump the glass into a Dropbox

There’s something about these Pete 520 McNeilus’s I just absolutely love. It’s just the sound of the CNG that makes the truck so unique.
Absolutely agree. I wish Pride would option them differently, the McNeilus Contender is great but with the Atlantic series cab shield and tailgate from the Atlantic series too just messes up the look in my opinion.
@@JamesE8 yeah, I agree on that too but the Mack MRU on CNG is not bad either. I mean it’s just a basic Mack MRU McNeilus. It’s just when the CNG kicks in it makes the truck make that roar sound and it sounds so sweet.

@blazeginsberg7278 yes I know all of them. This one is the only 2017. The 3 before this one are 2016s. The 2 after are 2018 520s. And then they have 5 Mack LRs that are 2020s I believe. And that’s all that ive uploaded on here. They just got a bunch more new ZRs, 2 Freightliners. And 2-4 2023 Peterbilt 520s.

Someday the driver won’t be necessary so it will just be a machine that is a type of robot collecting the garbage and going back to its location
That's going to be a extremely long time away then because the way people place the bins sometimes make the driver have to get out and move them also vehicles and other objects blocking the bin and tight spaces
This used to take quite a lot more manpower to accomplish. Now its just one guy in a robot truck.
