  • For the first time Prides Spilt Body trucks are now using the glass box, in addition a small black box has been added to all 8 Bridgeports, to hold motor oil and batteries. In this video there will not be any motor oil or batteries being picked up since there was none to pick up. You will see the driver Mike, was training a new hire in the newest ranger ASL 4093, having him dump glass bins into the truck. I got to film that a few times but in this video I did not get any footage of the glass bin on the truck going up and dumping. I’m disappointed that I didn’t but don’t worry I did get to film Mike in 4091 on the same route a few weeks after filming this video and got clips of the glass box filling up. Stay tuned for that video in a couple weeks!
Filmed in West Slope and Cedar Hills Oregon on 4/13/23.

The brigeports have never done 2 different wastes on my route before

Pride must really be getting rid of their custom glass trucks at this point. Are some of them still used or has Pride completely done away with them

Yeah apparently the old diesels are not road legal anymore so only the 3 newest glass trucks are being used. And yeah they still used those, they have to because of all the businesses and apartments they pick up carts at. The spilt bodies with glass bins and the ARs & ZRs don’t have a tipper to dump carts so they need those glass trucks still. And also to collect Recycle + materials.

That’s a question I cannot answer cuz I don’t know the answer too. That’s what I’ve heard from drivers about the old glass trucks and how they can only use the newer ones
