2 Of Pride Disposals Spilt Body Garbage Trucks!

Here's 4084 and 4085. Both CNG Peterbilt 520 Spilt body Bridgeport Rangers. 4084 recently had the arm replaced and with that the mechanics removed all components of the glass box that was never used. All the other bridgeports still have them at this time and it is unknown if all are being removed at some point. 85 which is quite faster than 84 which means 85 gets bonus points in my book. These trucks were filmed on B and D routes here in Tigard on 2/2/23. Drivers were Kory And Mike, big thanks to them for the filming opportunity.

I still can’t understand why Pride elected to order these trucks. Because for many years, Pride operated a fleet that consisted exclusively of McNeilus-made trucks. McNeilus themselves publicly acknowledged Pride as one of their best customers, and then they go off and buy a trio of Bridgeports.

Why does Pride keep buying them with the custom glass boxes if they are never used at all. Seems like a waste of money if they bought regular split rangers instead
