The "my mom gave me this car and died from cancer so it means a lot" plot point always felt like they scripted all the scenes & gameplay for that section and then went "oh crap we didnt put a story in" Its something my piss drunk half asleep d&d buddies could come up with off of the top of their heads. It was at that moment in the game where i actually had to go refund the game and wipe any remnant of the entire franchise from my pc. At that moment volition died, to me. Amidst the astonishing levels of bad content in this game.. seeing them shoehorn in the only real valuable plot point id seen so far.. and just chalk it up to 'car meant lot to me, we must kill ppl who hurt car" Yeah I used to adore Volition. Absolute fanboy.. But after SR22 Im glad theyre gone. Shitstain on the entire genre. Your character is a good representation of most of the people who play sr games. The more you explained the game, the more i wanted to play, and seeing it reminded me of the old games. Not the entire series but i can see some of the saints dna. The whole game is a parody of sr. I think after the 4th game some kind of tech is allowing the old boss to manipulate reality. Like what was done with mk. The reboot is just looking at one face of a dimond. The saintsrow being nothing but genki styled characters would be another face, and your character actually looks like those characters. The reboot looks decent. It doesnt look as bad as you explained. The changed dialog seems like the best thing for the game. I think your characters voice really set the tone of the game. Its goofy at best, and i understand why nobody takes the game serious.

Honestly one of the most underrated games I've ever played. I played the storyline multiple times and I'm always sad after the wedding storyline.

Last time i tried installing this game got hacked. lost 100$ on discord and lost most of my accs, the rush of getting all that back was 5:43 so not risking to do it again but great game. Most of the links are likely a trojan program these days since rockstar doesn´t have this one on their pages or even steam anymore.

Calling saints row the reboot a saints row game is worse than an insult. It's more like a silly spin off of watch dogs 2 but with none of the watch dogs mechanics. Saints row the reboot is not a fucking saints row game. The whole cast of saints row the reboot are the kind of characters that would get 1 minute of screentime as a joke in any other saints row game and then johnny would blow their brains out and spit on them

It is the BEST racing game of all time. 2027 hours on steam, modded and reshaded to look like a 2016 game, finished it over 50 times LOVE IT. I would want to see who can even take me on in this game. I mastered it so much it's become too easy for me, to have to use the cheat code for difficulty on 9 and still be too easy, except for kenichi, makoto, and savo.

Its impressive how much love and care went into your character model compared to anything else in the game. It sticks out completely.

Alternative Path of how Saints Row could of gotten back on its feet: I was hoping for this to be Johnny Gat surviving during the plane flight. In alternate approach of what should have happen in after SR3, it could have went as Gat survived some how and was led to a new location because of the oceans current. These past games could just be Gat Hallucinations after finally waking up to the situation he is currently at. During his recovery GAT heard about the news of the crew and what has happened while he was gone. I was thinking they could went with the approach and keep the roots going but in a more serious tone with the same attics it had from the beginning. The plot could have been GAT recovered and has entered in a land that could be a gold mine. The place could be a new location, with bigger fish to catch and new rivals and bigger opportunities. This was some thing I thought could of happened to bring the crew back to its core and having its roots combined with the name game play mechanics but keep it in a fresh nostalgic feel of how SR2 was and ride that.

I have been on a binge of this game recently. My childhood OG street racing game before Most Wanted 2005. I’m glad I got it on steam for like a dollar a couple years ago before it got delisted. Might need to try some of the mods that make it harder.

This game took me like 4 days along with the dlc to finish it, couldve taken shorter if I just focused on the storyline rather the side quest but bruh it was so good, always wanted to play it when I was a kid.

Imo, who cares about difficulty? Technically, it’s easy to make a hard game, like the old Mortal Kombats. To make a REALISTIC game or one that changes difficulty is much harder.

Midnight club 2 was like the dark souls of racing games, i remember going against parfaite and savo were traumatizing
