As of January 2023, Spain's brand new Digital Nomad Visa program, launched alongside their Startup Act, is opening its doors to talented individuals like you. This is your chance to ditch the traditional office and work remotely in a country renowned for its sunshine, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine.
This video delves deeper into the application process for the Digital Nomad Visa at the Manila consulate. Because we understand the nitty-gritty of visa applications can be daunting.
Marina will provide you a clear and comprehensive guide on applying for the Spanish Digital Nomad Visa at the Manila consulate, ensuring a smooth transition to your Spanish adventure.
By following these guidelines and gathering the necessary documentation, you can increase your chances of a successful application for the Spanish Digital Nomad Visa at the Manila consulate.
â¶ïž Here's why Spain's Digital Nomad Visa is good for Filipinos:
âą Live and Work in Spain Long-Term: Unlike some visas restricting your stay, this program grants you an initial residence permit valid for 12 months with the possibility of renewal for up to five years. Imagine working with a view of the Mediterranean or exploring the charming streets of Barcelona on your lunch break - the possibilities are endless. Enjoy Spain's beautiful cities, pleasant climate, and affordable living while working remotely.
âą Remote Work Flexibility: Whether you're a freelancer or employed remotely, this visa caters to your work style. As long as you have a stable contract and your company permits remote work from Spain (with a minimum of one year in operation), you're eligible to apply. Notably, unlike many other programs, Spain allows up to 20% of your income to come from Spanish clients, offering greater flexibility for freelancers.
âą Unlock the Benefits of Residency: A successful visa application translates to a Spanish residency permit. This opens the door to visa-free travel throughout the Schengen Zone, allowing you to explore Europe on weekends or holidays. Additionally, most visa holders become tax residents in Spain, benefiting from a reduced tax rate of 24% on income up to âŹ600,000 per year. Spain's extensive network of double taxation agreements, including one with the Philippines, ensures you won't get taxed twice on the same income.
âą EU Travel Freedom: With a Spanish residency permit (obtainable after securing the visa), you can travel freely throughout the European Union.
âą Spain a land of Allure: Spain has been a haven for digital nomads for years, and for good reason. Beyond the stunning landscapes and captivating cities, the country boasts a reasonable cost of living and reliable internet infrastructure - essential elements for a productive and enjoyable remote work experience.

So you applied for the Spanish non lucrative visa from the U.S.? I am currently here in the U.S. now. Is it much easier?
Yes we did đ You are only allowed to apply from your current country of your residence. Hope this helps!
What is fee for application at consulate? I have heard it significantly higher than applying in spain.
I never went to Majorca when I lived in the UK too many Brits went there However it has everything I need. Hoping to get there this summer.
Enjoy your trip!
Great video/info. Can you tell me how dog boarding is in Valencia because i noticed y'all didn't have your little friend when visiting the Philippines.
Hi, thereâs the Rover app or pet sitting groups on Facebook. I think thereâs a doggy daycare in the city but not sure because our dog passed away.

Thanks for this update! From what I understand, if one applies in Spain (after tourist visa expires), the minimum income requirement is 2200 euros even during renewal, but if coming from the Philippines, it needs to be 2650 euros upon renewal?
Hi, no itâs the other way around. Manila requires only 2200 euros but if you apply in Spain and during your 1st renewal the requirement (for now) is 2650.
Fantastic video! Thank you for such a clear and informative presentation. The visa expert truly made complex information easy to understand and very accessible. I appreciate the effort put into creating such helpful content. Looking forward to more videos like this one!

I watch your CZcams video. Your CZcams video is really amazing. But your channel and your videos expect more views and subs. I analyzing your CZcams video channel and i found CZcams video SEO is not done. And your channel optimization is not done. And the keywords you used in the video have a lot of competition so your video doesn't rank first in the search list and doesn't reach your audience.
How long is summer Valencia? And just from your experience, how hot does it typically get
It gets really warm from around July-August give or take a few weeks. It gets very humid and can be as high as 40-45C on the worst days.
Thanks for this. Iâve been to Spain many times & I regret not taking the path towards permanent residency instead of applying to Australia which never happened anyway. Iâm a Filipino living in the US. But have I known about visa options for Filipinos in Spain, I would never have considered Australia & paid those hefty prices! Although application to Spain also sounds like an expensive journey. But Spain & Australia, although both are better than the US, I think Spain is still an overall winner. Australia is a very expensive place to live in.
Thanks for watching! Never been to Australia so we canât comment on that, but yes Spain is way better than the US in most aspects.
How was the food overall? Similar to Barcelona and Madrid?
We liked the Basque restaurant in the center of town, but the rest of the time the food was touristy since we were by the beach. Barcelona has better restaurants.
Thanks for your valuable content. Really helpful to know important things around in Spain. Btw, would like to know which airport do you think is practical and easy to get direct to the city by train? I'm not sure if Madrid or Barcelona? 2. I plan to visit for a month, is it worth to stay in Madrid or Barcelona for a week or should I stay in Valencia and just visit other places and be back? Thinking of a cheaper way that I can save from accommodation cost. 3. Also, appreciate if you can suggest option to stay in where can be less cheaper than Air Bnb for a month of stay? Would appreciate your insights. Thanks! :))
Madrid to Valencia trains are cheaper and faster! You can do Renfe, Ouigo, or Iryo. Weâve also done day trips to Madrid but I think itâs worth staying there for at least 3-5 days. Thereâs really no cheap accommodation in Barcelona. Even hostels are pricey. Maybe hotels will have weekly rates? Or monthly rates? Look into that. Thanks for watching!
Are those suggested train apps have unli rides that i can buy for a month and consumable within Spain area ?
@@osaabi8371 no those are the train operators that go Madrid - Valencia.
âi see, how about within the area of valencia is it walkable to the city and to the beach? thanks :))

Hi, I have a question is it ok to just have the savings but don't have a passive income?
Theoretically yes as long as you meet the requirements of the consulate. But sometimes they get denied if the consulate doesnât believe you will not work in Spain. Each consulate is different, so we recommend reaching out to Marina at Bureaucracy.es/everythingisboffo for a free consultation. âșïž

Quite suprised to see that you considered "Pizza" and "Taco" places as Tapas Bars... obviously these are not real "Tapas" .. there are tons of way better tapas spots in Valencia..
DRINKS and Tapas. We mentioned the margaritas, and the Mercader as a place to have drinks/food. Send us your recommendations!
@@EverythingIsBoffo I would recommend Casa Montaña, Barbaritats, Lapaca, La Peseta around Cabanyal / Caprichos del Sur, Patapuerca and Fila el Labrador, Albarizas around Ciutat Jardi and Av. Arago / BarX in Mercado de Colon / Aladroc, Mare Merua, Vidrio Vacio in Ruzafa / Ultramarinos Huerta, Travieso in Canovas / Tasca Angel , La Senia, Bar Richard, La Barra de Boni, TintoFino Ultramarino in El Carmen / Bar Ricardo nearby Turia / El Portón, La Senzilla, El Carabasser in Benimaclet...
Thanks for the recos! We recognize Mare Meua, Vidrio Vacio and Bar X on the list. This is the second time that Tasca Angel has been recommended so I think weâll go to that one next!
Have you guys tried Huerta y Huerta in Russafa? Lunch 5 courses 30 Euro or Dinner 7 courses 50 Euro. Chef Ramonet prepares delicious food. You must have a reservation as he buys just the right amount of food for the day. Usually heavy on seafood.
Wow! Thanks for this! We need to give this a try âșïž
I love Ultramarinos Pope on Alameda by El Turia. Check it out. Until then, I'll look for you at Tiki Taco!
Wow Ultramarinos Pope looks great! Weâll need to visit one of these days! Thanks for this đ€
we we got ripped off at Tiki Taco last Christmas, literally they charged us double of what we ordered, otherwise the food was good
Oh no! Iâm so sorry to hear that đ„
Excellent. Thank you đđ»
Thanks for watching!
Isn't that a problem if u can't find doctor in emergency!? What's the solution at that time!?
We go to the ER when we have an emergency.
