Great video, very informative! How do you do your banking? What bank/s do you recommend using? What has been your experience as far as moving funds around and paying for daily purchases/bills. Also (not sure if you still maintain accounts in the Ph), how easy or hard is it to move money from there, say if you needed a ‘refill’ in your Spanish account. Sorry for the multiple questions, 😅 actually maybe you can come up with a vlog on this! 😊 thanks again
Hello! We kept our US bank accounts and credit cards, so we pay most of our stuff that way. We also opened with Wise to transfer from our US to Spanish accounts.
Another great video. Was able to confirm that I had or knew about all the apps you listed. I have Moovit but also like to use MetroValencia and EMTValencia too. Especially to plan future trips. Additionally, a note on train apps - the Renfre app is horrible but I find the TrainLine app to be pretty useful.
Thank you! And I actually found cheaper tickets at trainline even though they were 3rd party and not a train operator. We also just started scanning the QR codes at the bus stop to know when the next bus is arriving.

I recommend getting the Suma10 trips for 4€ and that will get you on buses and metro within the city and the yellow buses. You can buy it at the tabacco shop. For metro up to the airport get the Tuin+ card, I think each trip costs 2€. The bus stops also have QR codes that will tell you what time your bus is arriving. Overall, as long as you’re patient with yourself and allow yourself enough time, you’ll get there eventually. Thanks for watching! ☺️

We have Orange wifi for our home, super fast fiber internet, rarely do we have a problem with the connection. We have phones, TV, 3 smart bulbs, a fan, and 2 google homes connected.

What would you guys say is the best alternative to Airbnb? Taking into account you don’t have papers yet in Spain to go through the typical process and requirements. Thanks in advance!
Google will be your best friend. There’s vrbo, or search for local Bed and breakfast I guess. Also some facebook groups have houses for short term rent. You just need to do your due diligence to make sure they are not scams.
