Thanks for taking us along on your road trip. I used to live in Maryland and this was like a short visit back home. Ocean City, MD is lots of fun. I remember when the Air and Space Museum first opened. My father's office was across the street in L'Enfant Plaza and my brother and I would go into the city with him during the summer when we were teens and visit all the museums.

Enjoyed seeing this trip. I am from Virginia and also have been to Washington DC as well. Loved the Q & A . ❤❤❤

If you come to MD again try Assateague Island National Park, MD. It is a beach, with camping and wild ponies. So fun. It is not far from Ocean City.

What a DELIGHTFUL video! Your trip TOGETHER brought out so many mixed emotions: I cried, I laughed, I admired, and so much more. Ethan is especially blessed to have such a loving dad, as Ryan, and to take him on this impromptu trip to DC because of his love for history. I look forward to learning more about what God is doing to return HIS JOY in this beautiful way. I love a good road trip as well and am planning one in the near future. God used the song you chose at the beginning of your trip to help me heal after the passing of my m❤ther a short time before your beloved and late husband, Tim, also went to be with The Lord. Every time I hear this song I 😢 because of the memories and emptiness in my life as a result of my beloved M❤M'S departure. I know they are in the presence of The Lord now. I loved this so much. We went to DC 1:15:07 with our son and his family through their kids school . We were the oldest folks but kept up and saw so much! I had forgotten about Union Station and how beautiful it was. You described so accurately my emotions at the Korean War memorial. We were in a bus and had a awesome tour guide.

My first husband was in the Marine Corps for twenty years and we were stationed at Fort George G Meade in MD. Every time we had company we’d go into DC. I always enjoyed going to the museums. Being a girly girl my favorite exhibit was the Inaugural ball gowns of the First Ladies from Martha Washington on up to Nancy Reagan. We were stationed there in the eighties so she was the newest.

Stephanie, I live in Maryland and Ocean City is my happy place! If you ever get the chance come back and spend a few days. It’s so restful and exciting all at once! The ice cream shop you went to is wonderful!!! Your GPS, had you driving out of your way from DC. RT 50 from DC would have been a more direct drive. Hope you get your come back to OC,MD very soon! DC is insane with traffic! Living near Baltimore as I do, traffic is always an issue. You mentioned tornados, yes my community was hit by a small one probably on that same day.

Do you attend the same church together?

My Dad was in world War 2 and Korean war. He was hit by a buzz bomb in his head and buried for 3 days before he was rescued. I thank all of our vets. Great video
