@@rukohei9608 Which part of the final fight are you losing on? Is it the part where he traps Sora draining his HP or is it the final part where Xemnas does his Desperation move that involves Sora & Riku RC?

@@rukohei9608 Oh Grim Reaper second fight? The way you knock down the curse is using magic to knock out his medallions & the best magic to use on his shield is blizzard to freeze him in place & use thunder after to really get some of his medallions back so you can put it in the chest to break the curse so he can be damaged. I like to have captain jack in that fight since he has these bombs that can help with getting some of the medallions down quicker in phase 1 & 2. Lastly when phase 3 come, master thunder is the best way to knock down the medallions super fast especially since it stuns him as long as you are relentless that is & you are good. There are videos on this fight & what I just said here are speedrun tricks which seem hard but are actually fun to do & makes that fight 10 times less painful then doing it the intended way & I know because even though I didn't die as much in the fight but the fight itself takes longer when there are no strategies.

Yep, I remember when I was shocked at him coming into battle. It was the coolest thing ever.

Yeah, I agree. At least this way people can stop saying press triangle to win but I'm sure someone will find a way to make something that is good & balanced still seem broken & bad because no game is allowed to have nice things.

​@@orangemushroomslayer Yes I saw the trailer & I am aware the reaction commands are back but that was not my main focus of the video which is why I never brought it up because I knew that. My main thing with the KH mechanics is how they are handled by the Osaka Team & whenever they touch the combat in a video game, it feels unsatisfying, weak, punishing, & most of all it feels like the game is holding the player back from playing with some flavor & style because most of the modifiers in KH3 do not allow for such risk like KH2. So I am happy they are bringing that back because that made the fights more engaging while having great tools to Sora arsenal also made the combat better. Sorry for the long comment.

Yeah, it really should be. Let's hope they can cook up something better than what they did for KH3 or we will have KH3 2.5 on our hands.

If it does come out in 2025 which I highly doubt but if it does come out next year before it end would scare me. I know that still have the assets from KH3 that they will most likely put in KH4 which yeah that is faster than starting on a new model for gameplay. But I still think it needs more time to cook or at least make the game & cut scene fun & not make the game more cut scene than gameplay because that is just terrible.

The draws you get through base level up & some from limit form level up. You also get a free draw at the start of the game if you are playing in critical mode & you can get a draw ring that stacks with the draw you already have & you can use follow the wind which also has a draw ability attached to it. Those are how you can get the draw ability in KH2 to the best of my knowledge.

If you are not getting the dispel RC, you are either trying to attack him while he is attacking. Sure you might have his HP down to one while in the book world but if he is still on offense then the RC will not show up until he stops throwing his books at Sora. And I am talking about the ones he summons three times. After that, he will sit there for a bit which is when he is open. If you are too slow to catch that opening, Zexion will go right back on his offense. That is why I watch his moves that way I will know when to attack him & when not to attack otherwise he will punish you for attacking at the wrong time or punish you for being too late. And if you are near him while he is ending those attacks & miss the opportunity, he will summon the purple flames, or if you are taking too long to get him, Zexion will just trap Sora in the book indefinitely but this time to finish Sora off depending on how much HP you have too while trying to escape his grasp.

Haa I used to think that as well when I first heard this ability name until I saw it in action & was like that's not quick running but now ever since then I call it as it is. I think Quick Dash definitely should have been the name for it because there's no running animation happening. Only a Quick Dash that slightly melts Sora at a higher level for I-frames.

I almost could not understand what you were saying for a second there but to address the video yeah back then or whatever year that was I was not the best at speaking but have gotten better since this video was released.

Yeah, sure will. I feel bad for those in Japan with the Japanese version of KH1 since this was their only super boss in the vanilla version of the KH Japanese port. In contrast, the North American version had all the other super bosses except the unknown boss fight which was in the final mix version of the game.

It's not to painful once you know what to do. I went in using the Titan, Garuda & Shiva with Raging fist, Wicket wheel, the fire balls that spin around Clive since that makes Clive take zero damage but when he is hit during that move, it decreases. Get hit three times by something & it leaves early but no damage was dealt. So I did FF mode way before the rising tide DLC came out. If I were to guess the difficulty for FF mode after the new added abilities & stuff would probably be easy with the new Eikons but that would depend on the player ware about of the Eikon & how to use them while in a critical situation. So that pretty much all I can say on that. I am still trying to see the secret boss for the new gate but the player has to S rank every circle all the way to the 20th circle on FF mode in order to face off with the secret boss which in my opinion sucks. They were doing really well with the base game & added content only to lock the only super boss in the game behind a S rank system which I was only able to S rank about 7 IIRC & died because of a missed timed dodge & was sent back to the start. So that means if the player wants to refight that boss they have to face off with those mob fight plus the bosses that come after every 5fth floor just to face off with the secret boss SMH.

Yeah, I never trusted auto save in any game & just stuck with manual saves. Not even in FF16 do I trusted it even though I had not had any issue with that in 16 but you can never be too careful.

Each time the form you are using levels up will give Sora those growth abilities. So Valor form will give you high jump & limit form will give Sora dodge roll. How each form levels up I have a video on that which I will link you to in the next reply. Give me a few minutes.

@@keybladewar22 right i have those abilities but I can’t use them without being the forms. Like i noticed you’re able to dodge roll and you’re not in your limit form. How are you able to do that?

@@marktopiah Once you learned them you have to equip them which will be the gold slot in the ability menu. If it is grayed out it is because you don't have enough ap to equip them unless you unequip one that will give you some ap or use some ap which is in the item stock to increase it granted that you have some.

Hmm? That I didn't know since I am playing mine on the Epic Game version. I had my saves randomly reappear just a few days before REBIRTH was released which confused me.

You get that ability when you beat the solar fight before you face the second boss in that world. In the original version of this game, it was learned after beating the Volcano & Blizzard lord boss but was changed in final mix.

Sheesh. It's getting worse every time. I really wish I knew why this keeps happening. I told someone that I lost mine & right before the release of REBIRTH the save just came back which was weird.

I pretty much stopped playing that game but not because of that music but because that game is just not fun anymore. It's been 3 years since I played that game.

His vertical attack is mainly everyone's least favorite part about that fight. What I learned about that specific attack alone is that timing the dodge is the main thing to do which is something everyone has tried to do. But one thing I learned which probably still requires timing is while running either left or right just as he is rushing at Sora, I will dodge roll in the opposite direction just as he is about to hit. For some reason doing that works since normally while dodging that move people still get hit even with the right timing but don't realize that while he is doing that move it has tracking. So the player might think they dodged him but he will track Sora as he dodge rolls. That is why I dodge in the other direction because the player is bait dodging his attack & going where he won't be able to go since he can only go in one direction in that state. And since Sora gets I-frames at the start of the dodge animation that attack will miss Sora.
