I talk a little about some of the mechanics I would like to see make a return in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4 title & explain why I would like these mechanics back while going over some of the issues that plague KH3s
combat.

Honestly, I want to see reaction commands from KH2 again. Seeing Sora interact with enemies, especially boss fights, made Sora feel so much more awesome to me, maybe make certain ones only trigger like once or twice so it doesn't become too spammy.
Yeah, I agree. At least this way people can stop saying press triangle to win but I'm sure someone will find a way to make something that is good & balanced still seem broken & bad because no game is allowed to have nice things.

@@orangemushroomslayer Yes I saw the trailer & I am aware the reaction commands are back but that was not my main focus of the video which is why I never brought it up because I knew that. My main thing with the KH mechanics is how they are handled by the Osaka Team & whenever they touch the combat in a video game, it feels unsatisfying, weak, punishing, & most of all it feels like the game is holding the player back from playing with some flavor & style because most of the modifiers in KH3 do not allow for such risk like KH2.
So I am happy they are bringing that back because that made the fights more engaging while having great tools to Sora arsenal also made the combat better. Sorry for the long comment.

Yeah, it really should be. Let's hope they can cook up something better than what they did for KH3 or we will have KH3 2.5 on our hands.

If it does come out in 2025 which I highly doubt but if it does come out next year before it end would scare me. I know that still have the assets from KH3 that they will most likely put in KH4 which yeah that is faster than starting on a new model for gameplay. But I still think it needs more time to cook or at least make the game & cut scene fun & not make the game more cut scene than gameplay because that is just terrible.
