I like these boots, but the soles wear out too fast for me. I'm really hard on my shoes and boots because I'm outdoors darn near every day. These boots are bulletproof except for the soles. I'd like to figure out how to resole these.

I noticed your stock with the metal plate. The C-93s come with a plastic stock without the metal plate. Did you modify your weapon to fit the stock with the metal plate?

Two tips. To remove the safety lever, pull the trigger housing back to where it stops on the receiver, it will come out easier. 2nd tip, and this is just my opinion, for the trigger group push pin, place it in from right to left. That way when you release the mag, you won't push the pin out if you miss the mag release.

I put one if these on my scorpion. I run mine with a binary trigger and an 86° angled foregrip. The handuard lasted 400ish rounds and then the piece that holds the washer started pushing back and cracked off. Litterally pulled the handguard off. Because eif how thin that plastic was. It was great, but it didn't last and am very disappointed.

Even though this is 4 years old I use of all things WD-40 it eats the cosmoline up I use a 2in. paint brush and brush the cosmoline off and then wipe the gun parts or magazines off and beat part won't have to worry about the parts to flash rust.

Good shots of the parts and handling as well. Thanks for clarifying the bolt assembly. I wound up using a silicon cloth to rotate the bolt with gun-slick hands.

Free pro tip for lining up gas blocks on AR's. Use a piece of spaghetti noodle that is just small enough to fit into the gas port but not too long that it sticks out of the top. The tighter the fit the better as far as diameter is concerned. Install gas block with the rifle sitting normally, flip the rifle over so the piece of noodle will fall into the gas block when its lined up. Tighten screws down and flip the rifle back over. Use a cleaning rod to break the noodle and both pieces will come out of the barrel on its own. They sell "alignment tools" that are small brittle pieces of plastic that do the same job.

Nobody knowing about the "dingus" issue for reassembly tells me that nobody reads their pistol manual that comes with the gun. Doesn't build my confidence in the gun community...

You paid Promag to make their magazines correctly. If you have o "work on them" you got taken in. I end up throwing my Promag C93 magazines in the trash.
