Division with right people can help a lot. I say right people bcs in the past i had to play with just awful "clanmates". Lets just say it would have been easier to play without them. But in general, like i said in the video, having one or two extra players that can coordinate actions with you feels really nice. Even more so when you pick ships that make up for eachother. Like for example old time classic DM/Worcester + gearing.

Don't worry so much about the competative clans. I was not a part of any clan for a long time i played this game and I am doing just fine. My first 2K games still haunt me... aswell as too many games in secondary BBs that ruined my BB PR...

Na that's not true I had exactly the same thing first 4k Games I played alone and learned very slowly.... Clans will all watch your recent stats and test you so just try to get above 52% or so and sooner or later u will find a good Clan

The whole list of recommendated ship lines: - Halland (Pan-Eu DD tech tree, it is a torpboat) - Daring (UK DD line, it is a hybridboat) - Kleber (French DD line, it is a gunboat) - Worcester (US lightcruiser) - Zao (Japanese cruiser) - Goliath (UK heavy cruiser) - Yamato (Japanese Battleship) - Kremlin (Soviet Battleship) - Preussen (German Battleship) - Audacious (UK Aircraft Carrier) - U-2501 (German submarine)

Shell arc depends on the ship you play. For example US ships and most of the destroyers have that property that when you shoot on long distances the shells fly very high. The fix to that is: - either fight on closer distances to minimize that - make extra predictions to compensate for the effect (requires a lot of practice) - or just play ships with more flat shell arcs (for example russian ships such as petropavlovsk have very flat flying shells) But in the end all shells will work like that. This is how naval artillery works and we cannot change that. Look at the bright side. It allows you to shoot over and from behind islands.

those two are very diff ships but it is possible to have somewhat of a compromise for commander instead of fearless brawler take concealment perk this way you keep the range with the least cost to pay in order to run marceou on both use reload mod marc can manage with 14 km range play as a dd hunter and then farm from range that is not the most effective way of playing any of these tho and in all honesty you will eventuall need another captain not only bcs of these 2 ships but just for other french tech trees

@@Renegade1987. nice if you get the Halsey too thru another campain my recommendation for his use would be DM or Worcester line I forgot to mention before but Gdańsk lowkey sucks and i suggest picking any other ship line instead leaving that one as last.

@@senpai_silent7208 Im on the final mission for Halsey, need 6 more stars, going to grind up DM for sure, reseted the Harugumo line, just waiting for credits for Harugumo, and I have enough for Ohio, saved enough coal for Black, gonna buy it too if I dont end up buying Forest Sherman and trading it for Minegumo in this event. . .

I regret buying ohio myself. Didn't regret the slava or siegfried tho. I have Sherman and it is... broken but not my style. Don't trade a thing for minegumo. It is just yugumo that switches between yudachi torps or the short range situational ones. I m almost 100% sure you would have better time just playing yugumo instead.

Flak dmg is calculated weird too. It is your flak dmg divided by number of flak. It can hit multiple planes at once but still weird. Prio Sector indeed deals 5% of squad current HP and it is reduced for other classes. There is a perk for captain that increases that damage btw. Advanced tip from me as a thanks for good comment share. After CV drops for few seconds all the planes take no AA dmg (it is the time of the camera animation from the drop until it locks on planes again). If you activate AA prio sector during that time even if the planes are in your AA the extra % dmg won't be applied at all.

i made a whole video covering basics of countering CVs. And i m happy to see someone found a ship they enjoy. Dodging is really ship dependent (since every ship has different characteristics) that is why i did not mention it here too much. Oland (and whole halland line) is very decent since all of them have both decent guns and good torps with great sustain. Halland is more raw firepower while oland is more nimble instead. I recommend trying out few of the CVs (even on low tier) to look at their drop patterns. It will help you deal with CVs even better. Stay Strong, Good winds and fair seas Captain !

@@robertshaver4432 Thank you for kind words. I'm trying my best to make this game a better place. Having power to help others and using it feels really good. Also seeing wholesome comments under my videos always make my day. I complain too sometimes on streams when random shitty stuff happens as i m only human but i try to keep it as just venting emotions before analisis (or turn it into comedic relief).

Until Tier VII (that tier included) both harugumo and shimakaze line are actually torpboats rather then anything else from tier VIII above you get actuall gunboat

Oh Don't you worry. I have all the tech tree ships (apart from newest one and haru that i m currently resetting for RP) so i can make video on every single one. It just takes time so i asked about order. 1.Cool idea but i believe dodging strats are very dependend on ship characteristics like size turning speed and acceleration. Might be good topic for few shorts tho. 2. I have both Kleber and Marceau... I m thinking about making a poll for ppl to decide once i get enough suggestions. Will add both in same combined spot. 3. Very unusual ship. I say it is good to play in coordinated division but there are better ships. 4. The One and only - Best Hybrid/Gunboat DD imo. - Will have her own spot on the poll. 5. Sadly i have no tromp ... it is a gimmick ship. More for fun then results. Gronningen is the king of the cap. Very easy to play on ok level but very hard to master. @@senpai_silent7208 Great thanks :). I prefer to start a discussion with the creator and community than just say which ship I like :). Another thing that cam to my mind later that someone might think the ship and tactics apply for both Random and Ranked, but maybe they don't. Just a thought. I myself love ranked, fewer ships the more you contribute to win/lost :). PS. And don't forget about Tiers VII, VIII, IX ;)

i explained that in the basic aiming guide As i said here this video was made as an continuation so i don't repeat myself nor overload with information. You actually described what i said in basic vid here but i also explained how i calculate in head the "extra offset" if you know max speed of the ship and the fact that the crosshair is made for 30kts you can calculate what is %diff between 30kts and the speed of the ship then add that % to the time.

I think i said the line about shooting below and between where shells come out. I forgot to tell about the spotted plane even tho in all those clips i used that view.... Sniping BBs usually have very good accuracy regardless distance. Try one other thing. Sometimes there might be enemy near the guy in the smoke you want to blindfire. If you lock on him the shells won't disperse even when you fire at the smoked up guy. Keep in mind the shells will want to fall closer to the locked in target tho.

I played so much on static the moment i switched to dynamic my accuracy halfed so i switched back. So i said a little bit cuz nobody gets same from it. Glad it worked for you.

@@senpai_silent7208 It pretty much tells you how to lead. All you need to know is how fast the enemy ship is going. If It's going in a straight line and top speed is 30 knots then you aim on 30 on dynamic crosshair and that's it.

@@starly1974 i m so used to the way i m aiming i very often do not even think about crosshair. Changing it to dynamic would just create extra distraction.

Well... WoWs is getting same treatment as WoT had. Wonderfull game slowly killed by devs. I generally try to be as F2P as possible in all games and i won't be recommending to pay money to WG. However i disagree with stopping at tier VII as there are many wonderful tier VIII ships in the game. Also i recommend you to read about Project CW. - seperate team that branched out from WG created actually fun tank game. Played the last alpha test and i have high hopes. Maybe you will find it fun too. (when it will eventually release...)

I think that must come with mods you are using as i m not aware of there being any setting in vanilla client that changes that. Check up on what you have. If that does not work try resetting game settings to default ones as those should run with circle.
