Video made for educational purposes. - Hry
Video is meant to set baseline for beginners with the class. If you guys want me to do a vid about specific DD (or anything else) say so in the comments. (I love reading your comments)
So many of them, hard to choose. So for me:
1. Quick tutorial of how to dodge, with various DDs: either with speed, maneuvers, islands, smoke etc.
2. French Le Terrible, Le Fantasque, Mogador, Kleber, Marceau
3. Gdansk - is it even worth playing in current.
4. British Lightning - Daring
5. I have in port Tromp and Groningen - so if you want to add something, would be cool.
Oh Don't you worry.
I have all the tech tree ships (apart from newest one and haru that i m currently resetting for RP) so i can make video on every single one. It just takes time so i asked about order.
1.Cool idea but i believe dodging strats are very dependend on ship characteristics like size turning speed and acceleration. Might be good topic for few shorts tho.
2. I have both Kleber and Marceau... I m thinking about making a poll for ppl to decide once i get enough suggestions.
Will add both in same combined spot.
3. Very unusual ship. I say it is good to play in coordinated division but there are better ships.
4. The One and only - Best Hybrid/Gunboat DD imo. - Will have her own spot on the poll.
5. Sadly i have no tromp ... it is a gimmick ship. More for fun then results.
Gronningen is the king of the cap. Very easy to play on ok level but very hard to master.
Thanks for telling me this.^^
It always makes me happy to read and respond to comments.
Good luck and fair seas !
@@senpai_silent7208 Great thanks :). I prefer to start a discussion with the creator and community than just say which ship I like :).
Another thing that cam to my mind later that someone might think the ship and tactics apply for both Random and Ranked, but maybe they don't. Just a thought.
I myself love ranked, fewer ships the more you contribute to win/lost :).
PS. And don't forget about Tiers VII, VIII, IX ;)
thanks u , please keep posting guides like this , what about a didicated guide for dds like Småland and another one for cruisers ?
If you got: Minegumo! I really like that ship would like to see what build you'd use and how aggressive do you play her :)
I'm new to the game. if you could do a classification video for destroyers, like which are the Gun boats, torpedo boats and which are hybrids. thank you for your videos :).
Based on ships looks you cannot really distinguish that. Since for example one gunboat is 8.6 km concealment with 139 mm guns and size of a cruiser and the other has 100 mm guns and 6.2 km concealment. There is no one definition. It all depends on what is optimal build depending on ship's stats.
Here is a list of tech trees tho:
Torpboats:
-All IJN dds to tier VII and shimakaze line
-Yueyang
-Halland
Hybrids:
-Gearing
-Daring
Gunboats:
-Harugumo (from tier VIII above)
-Grozovoi
-Z-52
Cruiser sized gunboats:
-Delny
-Elbing
-Kleber
-Regolo (this is a strange one tbf)
All the special tier X dds (coal and steel) are gunboats aswell apart from hayate that is a hybrid.
Good video
Can you make a video of short summaries of how to play different tech line destroyers? I'm a cruiser main and would like to know what different lines have to offer. Cheers in advance!
Daring and Gdanks lines, from Tier 8 to T10 thanks :)

I would like a review of the IJN 'Gunboat' line. I'm only on the Tier VI, but neither the Tier V nor the Tier VI actually make me think 'Gunboat'. Are they going to be similarly lacking all the way up?
Until Tier VII (that tier included) both harugumo and shimakaze line are actually torpboats rather then anything else
from tier VIII above you get actuall gunboat
3:58 buuut still there is a risk that DDs are torping to smokes, so I recommend smoking when having also a hydro or just dont smoke xD
or pay attention and not fap in one place inside said smokescreen xD
Most DD players don't have a clue about how to "dodge" Aircraft attacks as all have been told that it's impossible.
You don't have to be in a Halland to be defensively AA strong.
I've 3.300 games in Oland and I sink a-lot of CVs and subs, neither can inflict enough damage on me to turn me away. Dodge "is" a v-strong option!
She's the ultimate Hybrid DD but most just skip past her with their dreamy eyes set on Halland of which in comparison I think sucks hind tit because it totally lacks "maneuverability".

i made a whole video covering basics of countering CVs. And i m happy to see someone found a ship they enjoy. Dodging is really ship dependent (since every ship has different characteristics) that is why i did not mention it here too much.
Oland (and whole halland line) is very decent since all of them have both decent guns and good torps with great sustain.
Halland is more raw firepower while oland is more nimble instead.
I recommend trying out few of the CVs (even on low tier) to look at their drop patterns. It will help you deal with CVs even better.
Stay Strong, Good winds and fair seas Captain !
@@senpai_silent7208 Thank you yes I play CVs once in a while in search of weaknesses, mostly in operations though, I don't consider myself Randoms worthy in CVs.
@@robertshaver4432I m happy to hear that. Don't think you are not worthy of randoms in your CVs. Everyone starts somewhere. Don't rush it and you should be fine. Small steps.
If you want i can share with you few tricks on my stream whenever you find me.
Might do a video about CVs someday too. Lowkey waiting for their announced rework.
@@senpai_silent7208 Thanks! Have Ranger, Independance, Yorktown, and Lexington but really just play them to strengthen my AA capabilities and to reenforce my learned AA tactics in Oland. I went to your You-tube site and found it to be interesting and will subscribe. Glad to see someone properly teaching the game and not just complaining about everything. Keep up the good work! :)
@@robertshaver4432 Thank you for kind words. I'm trying my best to make this game a better place.
Having power to help others and using it feels really good.
Also seeing wholesome comments under my videos always make my day.
I complain too sometimes on streams when random shitty stuff happens as i m only human but i try to keep it as just venting emotions before analisis (or turn it into comedic relief).
