dont forget the 3 minute hydro with hydro upgrade on Daring
Easiest ship line to play is non IJN DD, them IJN torpedo boat is so deadly the dev nerf all of their stat except for concealment and Torpedoes
i considered shima line bcs of concealment and torps but since we all know how WG "loves" IJN ships
it is too risky for beginners to play
imo halland provides better exp for newbies wanting a torp focused DD

it is sad that WG does not really support tech tree brawling ships like they used to...
I would recommend also a Conqueror
i did not recommend it due to tier 7 and 8 being absolute pain to play and due to generally weak armor
Any chance you could tell me the name of the first ship? I had trouble understanding it and the CC didn't help. I appreciate the videos, especially since I just started the game.

The whole list of recommendated ship lines:
- Halland (Pan-Eu DD tech tree, it is a torpboat)
- Daring (UK DD line, it is a hybridboat)
- Kleber (French DD line, it is a gunboat)
- Worcester (US lightcruiser)
- Zao (Japanese cruiser)
- Goliath (UK heavy cruiser)
- Yamato (Japanese Battleship)
- Kremlin (Soviet Battleship)
- Preussen (German Battleship)
- Audacious (UK Aircraft Carrier)
- U-2501 (German submarine)
One more ship con for Goliath, I dont like the firing arcs or the shells are a bit slower, idk anymore
I know I had huge problems with hitting a Venezia from 16 km distance in Clan Battles
shells are slower a bit but that is not that big of a problem
hitting venezia at that distance is hard mostly bcs of venezia manuverablity and small size for such a cruiser
I am surprised seeing Worcester here xD but yeah its a good CL
but torpedo angles of kleber are nice

Play only CV's - it's an indirect combat class, in what's supposed to be a direct combat game. And the only thing you lose is planes, which regen over time anyway. The reason CV's have these unfair advantages, is because this is the class WG intends for new players to use - for people who were suckered in this game, due to a sponsored stream or collab event, who don't care about learning the game. Also submarines have made the torpedo DD's obsolete.
New players will have a very bad experience grinding CVs as first line due to mostly economic reasons. (Reduced earning in exp and credits + the whole tech tree being quite expensive)
Imo a class that is only one in the game that gameplay revolves around mostly macro gameplay with very little micro is not fit to someone who just started to play hence i said i do not recommend it to be a first choice. Everyone should be allowed to have their preferences and opinions about what they like and what they don't. That being a reason i gave what for me is best choice for each class so everyone can make decision themselfs.
New players will also have a very bad experience, going up against CV's because surface ships at lower tier have literally no AA whatsoever, no AA modules, and no commander points to spend :D
You are actually a 2nd person within a day that makes me feel like making a vid that will help dealing with these ships is a good idea.

Nobody should play subs or cvs. Those are scumbag classes.
