Great job
my 94 toyota pickup is 30yo this month, 442K miles on the original motor, on my 4th battery, 2nd clutch, 7 minutes to change my oil, no major issues, just reliable
What happens if there is a little water in the system and you don't want to waste coolant just to flush out that little bit of water? Will there be any severe consequences for having water in the 50/50 premixed coolant?
Sorry for my previous comment. Didnt find the video on your channel. Searched and then found it!
I super wish you had a radiator replacement tutorial.
you can see the breaker bar bend as you are pushing on it ....
What is that tool?!
The sirens of the wrench
Did you know if your seatbelt is undone, the start/stop feature is disabled.
Congratulations on your transition đłïžââ§ïž
Have you ever wondered how hard it is on your motor, cooling system, etc
with a scan tool you can reset the counter , and not replace the starter
If you know a man with a plan you can have the counter removed
More glue isn't more better.
Came across this trying to figure out how to depin the 3-pin circular alternator pigtail of the harness (female). But this is still relevant info for depinning my other connector like the IAC valve connector on my 2JZ-GE. Where did you get the red rubber seals from?
My 2020 yaris has everything manual and one of the last nonhybrids. It will most likely outlive me.
Just disconnect the relay
I think its Some Impressive oil for being Very Low Viscosity Lake Speed Did some testing new used and A bunch of oil changes and testing On 0w-8 and 0w-16 over @The Motor Oil Geek
Most comprehensive video I've seen. Thanks.
And when the brake s and fluid get over 212f the water inthe b fluid will boil, turn to steam and your pedal goes to the floorboard and Viola...NO BRAKES AT ALL.
I think they're building tolerances so microscopically small the slightest amount of malfunction in the oiling system will cause a catastrophic failure like they've been having with some of the V6 is recently. That failure particularly is being apparently caused by machining debris in the oil galleries.
Thank You Faye
Ask me how to change your brake fluid without special tools pumps or tubes by yourself all that is needed is the bleeder wrench
50mA is nothing, even 150 considered kinda ok. Remember, batteries have 100 Amper Hours, so it wil be drain with 100mA a thousand hours. It's about 40 days.
One pull and your engine is cooked đ. Like god forbid you take that car to an auto cross event or just on a fun mountain road.
Most modern cars? Uh⊠no. Thatâs wrong.
Complete and total garbage and you cant permanently disable it.
I sometimes use a 3/4 drive socket on a 1/2drive adapter on my impact gun for road wheels and tight bolts seem like the fatter the socket the better it works sometimes
Why do you block the numbers? How much power did it make?
Adore chickens! đ Hope to save up for that fancy funnel. Thank you for another great video!
Loosened it with the impactđ
Soon just add water no more oil changes
How do you work on Supras and never owned that tool. SMH đ€Šđ»ââïž
Thanks for the informative video, I have been working on Toyotas since my 94 Camry sadly it went to Toyota have after a crash from an impaired driver. enter 2005 Camry I changed the breaks and rotors in my mechanic class my sister received it, so she gets a throttle body and mass air flow sensor for free last week. now my training was from a lady master technician and another guy they were both very good three years of training I would marry that lady if she wasn't married. I digress if I had three daughters, they would learn everything I know to fix cars too like you keep up the work women can do anything including being good mechanics. I have four sisters and they get anything they need to be fixed my brother he wasn't born with the mechanic gene so no help from him. very jealous of that new lift damm I would love to put the highlander on that if I had the space. mechanic advised I needed the throttle body and sensor cleaned I did it myself the range went up 50 miles from 497 to 548 I like fixing things. forget people who don't believe you're doing excellent work my girlfriend appreciates my mechanic knowledge.
I would assume this is done this way to reclaim the starter youve already used and reman it or just as a way to punish people that buy a car and go to mechanics instead of dealers
TBF that Snap-On gun is a dog.
More reason to buy an EV
Now that is scary. I used to dream about witches when I was a kid.
Acquiring a tool often saves you so much time that it is worth the expense.
In the gravy is, as a technician, you have a perfectly good starter to sell to somebody else after you've replaced it.
Mercedes Benz keys also have a limited amount of start cycles, if you didn't know, too!
That oil is thin just so Toyota can squeeze out 1-2 mpg sacrificing future wear of the engine. IMO
15,000?? figure 4 times a day for 10 yrs because it seems like at 10 yrs the starter needs replacing
dont use red threadlocker either, maybe blue, unless u have torch
Sounds like a feature to just permanently disable.
Ah, The Proper tool for the job.
Wow finally a female tech that knows her stuff and has no of I will subb
Thanks!
Remember the manufacturers do this to meet government requirements on fleet CO2 emmissions. It is illegal to disable, because you would be tampering with the homologation, but you can turn it off at start. No biggie.
I don't really know what the big deal is. I have never had a hard time getting those off.
