If u ad a cam can you pass smog because if you ad header's u don't pass smog no one talks smog
@@craigdave3266 here in bama its not as strict and with the right tune u can pass smog with a cam. If you dont delete any 02 sensors you can squeak by with headers too here. All depends on where youre at. Cams typically only affect vacuum in my experience

@@stevesalisbury6865 9.60 best time with a crap tune. Electric fans and cols air intake as well. Also was running on 28 inch tires. The cam drpped from a 10.20.
Running the small tires gives it about a 4:56 gear ratio. The cam dropped the et about 6 10ths over stock
I am doing the same but with a 2014 gmc 2500 I just got the truck Norris came and LS6 springs to match it my motor is 6.0 with the 823 castings I would love to tune it myself so can you help me? When I get the HP tuner , I will hit you back up

What did it do to the gas mileage ?
To be honest it dropped a bit at 1st. As i got thè tune back in line it actually improved on the interstate. Not so much red-light to red-light 😂 i have 2 tunes i use. 1 for the track and 1 for just riding around. I do have a couple of track videos so you can see the gains. No dyno yet tho

I like the G3 rails better than the G4s. I got a WVE/NGK coolant sensor. The cts saved this 2004 tahoe in January from a stuck closed tstat, it told pcm to cut half the efi off to try to get temps back down
I never found anything specifically wrong. I can only assume a bad connection somewhere that it didnt like. No more po200!!
@@Ralf1NATORawesome, interesting enough, had a 92 tbi 350 that would fall on its face under heavy-wot load, tested the map, it was electrically good, but it was bad internally because swapping it the engine regained its power output

I installed a Truck Norris nsr on my 2007 6.0 6" lift and 35's. I did a dod delete and vvt delete at the same time. Truck gained 20psi oil pressure deleting the dod. I used ls7 lifters and 7.4 pushrods. Valve train is quiet and truck makes good power. Street tuned myself with stock converter.
Nicely done im still working on the tune. Just added heads , headers intake and injectors. Thanks for watching
