Getting there lol. Life getting in the way. Going to test for fuel leaks hopefully tomorrow then start reassembly. Heads and headers are mounted. Intakes together. Should be able to button it up in a day. Just praying for no leaks cause that fast conversion kit is a little sketch lol

I'm building my 4.8 you've talked me into the truck norris cam now I can't figure out if should get stall and tune first or do internals
Lol glad i could help you spend some $ . Imo the internals are pretty strong. Assuming its a good running engine already. Stock stall works fine but of course a high stall would kick azz. Tune really is the key. Throw your truck norris in, tune it, and invest in extra tires cause u gonna need em 😂😂 keep us posted on your progress and thanks for watching ✌️
Absolutely get a converter! Even with the stock cam it will greatly improve.
If you have the money then add a stall if not it will still run well. Mine does 😁

The i6 converter from the trailblazer is a 2400 or 2500rpm factory stall. Cheap junkyard find. Bump up from factory silverado. But you will really feel it if you run an aftermarket 4k stall with slicks
