thanks for vid be calling soon just got a 1936 model 68
I appreciate you assuming that the viewer knows a bit about fabrication. The tutorial is much faster that way which is a good thing.
Like a teacher. Clear and simple. 🙏🏼
If you marked off axle centerline from the factory manuals, would you wheels sit right without fitting fenders? Someone might not have fenders just yet😅 but wants to have a rolling chassis. Also, do you guys offer a top mount that uses shims instead of t-bolt design?
Great video ! Straight to the point and no bs luv it! I’m going to start on my 46 chev frame right away and install front crossmember/MII kit and rear leaf kit and I think I’ll do the same as you and do it all on my 2 post lift so it’s easier on my knees etc. I just wasn’t sure if frame should be set with the finish ride height and rake first or just level frame and weld in crossmember etc ? I’m thinking I should be able to adjust my ride height after when i assemble my suspension kits ?
I’ve got a 66 hardtop you’re more than welcome to use for an install video/videos
What's the cost to install on a 1958 3100
do you have plans to add 55-59 chevy trucks to your list of 4-bar suspension kits? dummy me if i didnt see it...
we do make on ck out the web site thanks clay
@@FullTiltStreetRods CK? is it similar in installation as your 47-55
watch the video on the web site same as 67 ford truck.clay
How much for your kit plus rear separate price
Got anything that works with an actual mustang 2? I have a 78 mustang 2 and I want tubular control arms but all the aftermarket stuff doesn't seem to work with an actual mustang 2.
I will be calling for this. Beautiful kit glad i saw this or wouldnt know this kit existed
Does the steering tie rods need to run parallel with the bottom swing arm on a early about a 1964 Mustang II front end? This has the single swing arm on the bottom and dual tubular swing arms up top. It's on a pro-street car I bought that has bad bump steer starting at around 20 mph if the road is a bit bumpy. If I feather the throttle very slow it will go fine on the freeway and not bump steer but the second, I hit the throttle hard it wants to pitch the car off the road very violently. Just driving it does not pull and goes straight so very frustrating need to get it figured out and use the car. Took the front coil-overs off and tires then ran the swing arms up and down by hand and the steering wheel went back and forth. Sorry I just finished watching your video and see my tie rods need to run parallel with the lower swing arm.
Very well done. Easy to see and understand. Professional. Thanks.
Love it... thanks for sharing
I just ordered the crossmember and spring towers but did not come with box plates and other small parts. Can I order that separately and where? Thanks P.S. enjoyed the video.
I know this is old, but how do you figure out Anti Dive angle with this process?
T
Nice setup
Даааа! Нормально!!! Лайк однозначно!)))
How do you know your ride height to set your frame at before welding the brackets to the rearend?
I got the 4 bar from yall but my 1950 truck frame looks different than the one in your video here. Is this going to work for my truck?
I like the information my question is I have a 51 Ford truck , would it be safe to use a bolt on mustang 2 kit or the weld in thanks.
I'm a fan of weld on over bolt on thanks
@@FullTiltStreetRods Thanks I am trying to decide whether to use a chassis already design for my 51 because I don't do any welding an my body is in great shape any suggestions would be appreciated.
Man that's badass. When I get that far in my truck I'll definitely give you a call I like that thanks
Is it ok to move everything forward a bit on a 56 f100 so the wheel is centred? Factory has the wheel set back off centre in the wheel opening.
Yep. That what you want to do to center the wheel
@@FullTiltStreetRods thanks for the quick reply, I’m looking to get rid of the original. straight axle .. what’s your opinion about power steering? Is it worth it? The truck has a 312 Y block and I’m not sure if I could find a power steering pump setup for it..
Do you still sell this kit?
Yes we do
Awesome videos. I've been looking to do this for my 66 mustang and was curious about the work of installing this. Very informative!
Do you make a kit for a 72 nova?
Thanks for the info, building a 64 F100
i guess I'm pretty off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Nelson Briar I watch on Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
Great video! Very informative. "The producer guy is a sissy!" I love it!
What is the O D & I D measurements on yourFrame Rails? is the crossmember made where there is Adjustment ?
Looking for a kit for a 1963 nova wagon
Hi ,great kit ,wish i had one ,do you carry basic crossmember kits for getting started ,i.e for folks on a budget ? I have a '52 Ford f1 project that I'm building, and i came across some upper control arms for a race car in my garage ,that's why I'm wondering if i should go this route ,as opposed to a straight axle i beam front front end ,also how much if you do carry starter kits ,thank you !
You sir did it the white way, all these videos and nobody hangs a fender and puts a wheel on before welding it .. nice job sir👍👍
Question...I added the Detroit Mini Tub and I cut the inner frame.....I see that your set up with the Top shock mouth is for stock set up...what do you recommend how to attach it ?
Hey nice work! Will this work on a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton truck if so how do I order is kit thanks
Robantsal52@yahoo.com or call leave Message please
I shouldn't have gone to Specsavers, me thought that read Full Tits.
how do u find the centerline for it
Were can I buy this kid
You didnt watch video did you? Although not obvious.. they do tell you.
What an awesome guy for showing us how to install. He is very talented for sure. Wish I was closer to his shop.
I have a 1931 Lasalle, i would love to change out the front end with this kit.
You have a kit for a '36 Chevy low cab pickup?
Could you leave the cab on and just take off the front fenders to do the switch?
Thanks for the awesome video! Your product seems amazing! I'm just wondering if you would have a front end kit for a 1967 Ford F250. I find lots of front end kits for older Fords and for the F100 - but not the F250
how much the entire kit for 59 chevy truck cost?
Hi, can you give me a price for this, for a 58 apache panel please?
I have a 58 apache suburban i love it was going to put this in it but im putting it on my 06 tahoe 4wd chassis! Good luck with your project
Where in Colorado are you located ? Thanks
Only thing i'm not completely satisfied with is the spring boxes arent really designed to handle twist. Push and pull, yeah.. the sub frame brace attachment is a make it or break it joint.. Also, why would you put the torrington bearings between the spring seat and the lock nut? That completely defeats the purpose. The torrington bearings are supposed to help relieve drag from the spring when you are adjusting the spring seat. Its supposed to go between the seat and the spring......
Clay, how do you get the crossmember cutouts please?
That is a awesome four link plus set up
hey nice carsm
