I agree with both of you, sometimes it may be a life or death situation and the only way to get out of it or to save someone else might be by lying. But most everyday cases aren't like that and from what you mentioned, I believe Jordan was addressing the issue that everyone lies or has lied in the past for personal gain and the moment this easy way out works for us, we all end up resorting to it until we eventually learn our lesson (although many never do).

I can’t express this enough. Look what the actor went thru in the passion of Christ so think what Jesus went thru because that was a real crucifixion. My lord and saviour Jesus was an innocent man who committed no sin yet he was mocked and spat at then whipped to the point any other man would have died from the whipping after the whipping he had to carry a heavy cross while in so much pain, if that wasn’t enough they then drove nails thru his body nailing him to a cross he carried then a crown of thorns forced into his head breaking into his flesh and he was hung up on that cross to suffer an agonising death and if that wasn’t enough a sword was driven into his body. I’m almost in tears writing this because my lord suffered more than any human will ever suffer and Jesus knew before he came here this is what he will go thru for man. You see how much humans mean to God. Jesus took all that pain and suffering out of love for us knowing some of us might never love him back, thats true love. Thank you lord but im not even worthy of a single drop of your blood that was spilt that day but i love you. glory be to God.

I live in Arizona and I was able to go into a prison and teach an electrical class several times over with new classes each month. The class was everyday during the work week for a month. We had paperwork, tests, and we were even able to bring tools into the prison for hands on training. Some of the guys from my classes are still with the company I work for and it changed there life, and Mine! One of the most rewarding things I've ever done as an electrician! Unfortunately, politics and money got in the way, like always, and it ended up shutting down, but I am so grateful to experience it while it lasted.

They said they were extremely worried about his strange behavior as a child and teenager. His friends even called him The Pyro because he was setting numerous fires. He tortured thousands of insects. He killed his mother’s pet parakeet with cleaning fluid. He was very self-destructive. He had many telltale signs of future psychopathic behavior. So David did come under the influence some kind of evil.. a spiritual evil, since childhood. Michael Caparrelli’s book documents this. David himself says on his website that the Son of Sam crimes were spiritually driven. Messages in his mind. Something came over him as a result of what he perceived as many abandonments in his life. This doesn’t absolve him of responsibility, but it helps explain the toxic mix of mental illness and anger at the world which opened him up to dark entities. When PotC came out, I had befriended a group of Chinese exchange students my senior year of High school. Two of them asked me and my mom to take them to see this movie out of the blue. It was the first movie I saw twice in theaters. They loved it. Afterwards, they both became Christians.
