      Your best order could be Kapalabhati / Bhastrika then your workout , Rest for 3-5 min in shavasana, then do rest of the Pranayama

    In the 1960s, on a visit to the book store, I came upon a book Light on Yoga by BKS Iyengar. It was THE only yoga book in that store. It contained many black and white photos of yoga asanas and their purposes, shown by Iyengar. It was primarily about the poses, but it was my beginning when I was 15 years old. There were no yoga classes at that time in my area (Texas USA). I practiced day and night literally. Each day I saw progress with this book as my sole guide. I owe so much to this man, who overcame tuberculosis to live a long life. Please, if you are so inclined, check out the youtube videos where Iyengar demonstrates his incredible poses. It will help you see what is possible, but realize that his advanced level was not reached overnight. When we spend focused time in practicing anything, we can become that practice. Take care what you practice. Namaste.

      Your journey is very inspiring. What you say is 100% correct. There is a yoga sutra in chapter 1 which talks about the level of commitment. One reaches the goal and liberation based on how deep and how intense they stay with their practice with full dedication. Thanks for sharing your experience 🙏🏽

    Wow, I've been naturally doing Yoga poses in my room for years before even knowing of Yoga and even when I did know of Yoga, I was still doing those physical poses without knowing they were actual Yoga poses already. They happened to correspond to my health issues in these energy centres of the body, like the Udana one at the end of the video where you stick your legs in the air and balance on the ground using your neck and upper shoulders. It's not exactly the same when I did it, because I did not use my upper arms to balance on the ground, but I've been having thyroid and other issues which corresponds with that area. I also happened to do some other physical movements which fits Vyana. 👏

      Please avoid Kapalabhati and Bhastrika if your eye pressure is high ( Glaucoma)

      Yes they can....Not to stay in forward fold longer time. Better to do half forward fold instead of complete head down position. Please also check with your doctor.
