Welcome to my channel. I race RC Cars in West-Central Wisconsin and near the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I started out with Spec Slash, moving into the 2wd SC class before selling the Slash 2 years after I first bought it. Now I'm looking to move into both 2wd and 4wd Buggy racing at my local tracks with the possibility of doing On-Road as well. Make sure to check the bottom of the lower frame rails and not just the sides. Ours looked alright from the sides but the bottom was so bad that where they bolt onto the engine cradle was totally gone.
Looks like a big project! Mine was the same way. The drivers side was much worse than the passenger side. Definitely seems like a daunting task but you can definitely do it!
Absolutely amazing build! Do you know if anyone has done a 1/48 c-130j-c5 with the aztec fuselage extension plugs? supposed to add 4in. in length. Thanks.
I can't really say for sure. I've been out of the model building hobby for about 6 years now. You could probably search around a little bit and maybe find an aftermarket kit. But like I said before, I can't say for sure.

There are a couple people in my area who run them, but they run them almost exclusively indoor.
A lot of us prefer cars that we can get parts for too

Isnt the li-ion battery the one you CAN charge via the usb c port? But not the lipo battery? The 18650 also can be charged.
You can charge a Li-Ion, Lipo, or the 18650 batteries through the port. The only battery type you can't charge there is a Li-Fe battery as it has a lower voltage than other lithium battery types.
Nothing better than a proper of road track, a lot more skill needed and definitely a lot more entertaining for the spectators

im wondering can i get the 4 in 1 radio and bind to my spektrum avc receiver's like the sr6200a?
I'm not sure. It would need to have a radio protocol that's supported by the MT12. I forgot the main protocols that it supports (should be on their page).
The 4in 1 will bind to spektrum dsmr receivers
Problem with the servo is a known issue that effects certain ELRS receivers. Do a search for the WATCH BEFORE YOU BUY: PWM issue on certain ELRS receivers and some digital servos video by RC Video Review. He explains the problem and a work around for it.

Why remove the guards, can you just clean around, and install the new seal?
I probably could have, but I had heard replacing the tracks is also a good thing to do as they can rust out over time. And if they rust too much, then the seal could shift and cause a leak, not that these aren't prone to leaking anyways.

Nice job. Really good work and technical knowledge required on that one. Great job.
You need to open valve, pump down, close the valve, let go. Then repeat about 5-8 times per caliper. You shouldn't pump the brakes repeatedly like that with the valve open. Hope this helps.

Good job dude!!!! I did mine about a year ago. My passenger side motor is like yours its like just a sec behind the drivers side light in speed, ive noticed that on several cars now, not sure if its a ground thing or old wiring or what.
