Project Fiero Frame Restoration: Pt 1, The Assessment

Hello fellow Fiero fans. The time has finally come for me to tackle the biggest issue with this car. Yep, rust-out on the upper frame rails. Fear not viewers, for this is not as difficult as it seems. I am fortunate enough to have access to a nearly rust free frame with mostly intact rails, save for some damage on the passenger rail. Once this project is completed, I can turn my attention to other upgrades that I wish to put on this car.

Looks like a big project! Mine was the same way. The drivers side was much worse than the passenger side. Definitely seems like a daunting task but you can definitely do it!

Make sure to check the bottom of the lower frame rails and not just the sides. Ours looked alright from the sides but the bottom was so bad that where they bolt onto the engine cradle was totally gone.
