The applicator presses and opens up the crack allowing the liquid to get into the damaged area. Leave the applicator in place, you will see the fluid travelling up the crack, don't run the fluid on top of the crack as you did, let the applicator do its thing. Once the cracks are invisable place on the film and harded in the sun, or better still under a uv light. If a part of the crack still shows move the applicator over the crack and do that bit. once you have an invisable crack it wont be strong, it only makes the crack invisable, fit a glass screen protector. Worked for me on a Samsung

Really excellent video because you showed the struggle and solution for getting the original battery out. Isopropl alcohol - good tip. Only suggestion is to show screw replacement in same order as removal...I believe the kickstand screw was out of order. Anyway, great video. Worked like a charm. Thanks!

If you choose to use a UV light, make sure you buy one which has the proper wavelength. Some black lights operate under and over the spectrum needed to cure the resin. It will do nothing. I can't remember the correct wavelength, but don't just buy a uv light without verifying a overlaping spectrum.

You need to take the razor blade at a 90 degree angle scrubbing back and forth. By angling it, you’re pealing it up.

I was wondering if I could use this. Years ago I fixed a rock strike on my windshield, also had some small fractures coming out of it and used the windshield kit, so easy. The center knob of the suction device goes on the crack and you squirt the resin into a hole at the top. Screw it down and it spreads the resin thru the fractures. Being this isn't a deep fracture, he used too much resin and should have used the razor blade to smooth the resin up through it. This would work tho. Very similar.

Just crashed my Mini 2 se, rain into a telephone pole on sport mode, going as fast as i could, by accident of course. The drone works fine, the only thing that's messed up is the camera, or the gimbal. And it actually works, it's just stuck, (when i hit the pole, i was going in reverse, so it didnt even hit the camera, or the gimbal), but when i turn it on, it only gets about half way thru the gimbal check, and it stops, i checked, i can still fly, but i cant control the camera, any help would really be appreciated. The side of the battery with the cable was angled and lifted up a bit more than other sides. It was easier to wedge the spudger underneath it. Removing the battery was easier once I focused on that side. I also used a good amount of alcohol.

Is the glue 100% necessary? Or will the battery be ok without it?

So tired of shitty batteries that are almost permanently installed yet don’t last even a few years. You think they would understand these batteries eventually fail and gotta be swapped. But I guess they make more money if you just throw it away and get a new one.

The crack was too deep. In this case, the resin will enter deep into touch screen and oled circuitry.

Now I have never played with this resin before but what I think I will end up trying on my phone after I drove over it with my tractor is I'm thinking about finding a role of wide clear Gorilla Tape and seeing if I can lay that down over some liquid resin without getting any air bubbles trapped in there. I might have to make a couple pin holes to let out air and excess resin to the outside of the tape but the plan would be to get the tape on over the liquid resin and make sure all the air is out and make sure there's not an excess of resin where it don't belong and then just leave the tape on it forever and see if the resin can minimize light refraction in the cracks

Just wondering. Would it be fine to buy a replacement digitizer/screen on Amazon? They are all around 4 stars but have atleast a few reviews about lasting 2 months before blacking out.
