Been to Moab and hated it. I didn't know I had a terrible fear of heights until the first day when the trail brought us right out to a cliff edge. I kept trying to soldier on but had to bail because I couldn't keep up with our guide. The days that followed I went off on my own and stayed in the low lands. I still enjoyed the scenery but those cliff edges are not for me.

I wanted something a little different for today's workout so chose a cross country style and terrain. Wow, I am so impressed with that rider! Such fabulous form and so very strong while going up and up and up. I felt a little lazy just pedaling on the flat. :)

Amazing ride. Howe did she calculate 15% grade at the end ? The steepest sustained section of Schaefer is ~5km and just under 9%, while the steepest 10km is about 5.5 of the plots from Strava are correct
