The perfect, Electro Motive (EMD), E9 shot!
Sometimes you just happen to be at the right place at the right time. Back in the summer of 1990 I recorded with my then new video camera the Burlington Northern's Electro-Motive E9 units in commuter service while I could before their retirement. This was a three (E9s) for the price of one shot. Just as the westbound double header clears, the eastbound EMD E9 comes into full view. I couldn't have been luckier if I had tried! Thanks for watching this short clip! To watch the entire video this segment came from, click on this CZcams link from my channel: czcams.com/video/uX2dJ5t3ooY/video.html

I agree Midway Airlines was indeed "a cool airline" having flown on it several times back in the 1980s. I once flew Midway from Midway airport to Des Moines, IA. Des Moines was "completely socked in" due to fog. The captain got on the intercom and asked the passengers which alternate airport they'd like to go to for the night, Kansas City or Minneapolis-St Paul? K.C. won out. The airline put us up in individual rooms at a nice Hyatt Hotel near the airport and also paid for our dinner that night. The next day's short flight to DSM was uneventful.
