Kansas oil wells, sunflowers and a sunset

Video footage of an eastern Kansas oil field south of Iola, KS. This was shot on a warm, humid, breezeless, late summer evening on August 28, 1994. The nearby road is Kansas U.S. 169. Interesting display of natural and manmade sounds of insects (especially cicadas), oil well pump jacks with their whirling electric motors and squeaky mechanisms and the passing truck traffic on the highway. Also note all the appropriate sunflowers, the state flower of Kansas.

I don't know who you are but this and the Tulsa in 1994 video bring back dep memories that make me tear up.
