I think it makes the job a little easier if you use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the covers before pulling them over and when your are doing the finale tugging into place etc..

What all did you do to make it fit? Im planning on manual swapping and 5.3 swapping my 91, i have another 91 parts 4runner thats a 5spd, planning to get a GM style bellhousing for that then just drop a 5.3 in it, from my measurements it should fit with electric fans. Did you have to do any changes to the radiator? Or did the 5.3 fit without modifying all that?

Bend a hook on the end of your TIG wire. Makes it easy to hook on something when not in use, and prevents poking someone in the eye. Glad to hear something good came out of COVID (no smelling gear lube), gear lube is the worse smell.

That's not a beam its a column. Beams run horizontal, columns stand vertical. Its so annoying when beam cut columns and they don't know that they are doing(Cutting structural members without the proper know how...this how people get killed or injured). I am an engineer, been in the business over 30 years, trust me I have seen some crazy things people do. You guys did a great job. I am glad you fixed it. Awesome job guys. Next time you do brake lines, don't do stainless, they crack too easily. You really want Ni-Cop which is nickel copper.

Did you use an adhesive when replacing the gasket? My husband and I are replacing the one on my great grandmothers’ fridge and this is where we are stuck. Hers was rotted and we can’t figure out how it was done.

Can you use the oem Colorado brakes? So 15in wheels can clear? Or with these mods you have to run the h3 rotor?
