Basically this isn't a promotional video , right! 😂 Great joke sir 😅
Appreciate you sir
I love this guy. He gets to the point. This helps my Adhd omggggggg assess fill my head with knowledge I can remember hahahahha
Learn hardware(systems, networks), Shell scripting(bash, powershell), languages(C, Sql, Web scripting), then add math and writing skills through Office programs. Be an effective communicator.
"I'm coming from the heart not the pocket"
Love that this guy was so down to earth and let people know the truth into becoming a cybersecurity it worker in any field that you or I decide to go into. Thanks very much. Very very insightful and keep doing what you do.
As a Cyber Security student, I appreciate this guy's blunt truth very much.
i self-studied Sec+ FIRST, then took Net+, took A+ after, Failed Pentest, but passed Cysa+ and recently passed Casp, all in the space of TWO yrs, Self-studied, NOT difficult...........lots of material on CZcams
@Alberto-qf7zh hi! I'm getting into cybersecurity field, I'm so lost on what roadmap to take or where to start! Could you help me please 🙏🏻 i still don't know where to go but i may want to go the managerial way, do you think you could help me with anything? I'm studying ITF+ now, thinking about taking after it: A+ Network+ Security+ I don't know what next? Is this good or is it bad? Any help is highly appreciate 🙏🏻
you are truly ritght
I'm going to college for Network Engineering next year and I am just wondering if anyone can give me some good advice. I plan to have the 4 "core" CompTIA certs and CCNA by the time I go to college if that helps.
If you get those’s four core CompTia certs and CCNA before going to college you might as well start networking on LinkedIN with tech recruiters for job placement.
Love that simplicity… why can’t we just all think this way…
No
Yeah you're right
Thank you. Really appreciate it
I think learning the very basics in OSCP is all you need if want to become a professional cybersecurity expert. It actually tells you how to penetrate instead telling what is hack like in CEH 😂😂😂.
I am confused about question number 40, the answer seems to be incorrect using the formula it should be 4950
I’ve been in School now for one year for cyber security, but in the fall, I’m a start the program for my bachelors degree
Sadly its reality in CZcams. Heck I read some posts on Reddit that shows that some programs (cough Baxter Clewis and Network Engineer Academy cough) that just have some poor soul attended the program and the mentors just don't do their jobs well and just blame their students for their failure when its the instructors fault to begin with. That s why I prefer working my way up rather than taking shortcuts
Security has more to do with processes than technology
Are your courses on Udemy practical courses filled with lots of hands on knowledge?
Really helpful - thank you!
I just paid for the course [CompTIA Network+ N10-009 Full Course - In Progress - Beta] but it says In Progress. What does this mean for me because it is over 3 weeks after the announcement of these changes to be included, Sir.
Thank you, Uncle Andrew Ramdayal. I am from Nigeria and have over a decade of experience in IT Administration and Training. I paid for your course today, after you reaffirmed and explained the pathway that I often tell my statement and everyone who cares to know; which is, you have to build from the ground up. In the field, I have seen that many people know CISCO but don't know networking and those are two distinct things. You rightly mentioned the cause which is that Institutes are more interested in selling the courses. Thank you, Sir. See you in class, Sir. Namaste, Sir.
Its Wireless you cant secure it.
found out I need this cert for a job I'm getting what is the best way to study for this where i dont have to pay for a course
This is true tho, same concept in development, you cant fix a system if you dont know how each module in the system works.
I just subscribed! I hope I’m not too late for the free 009 network plus course 🙏🏼 ..I want the course before taking the test
6 figures 😂 you are being setup
Best way to qualify for IT security is run several networks in multiple states under hi stress and then you will what to and what not to do
Yes, I agree with you, as a long time IT person. Real cyber security is hard. Fake cyber security is easy, just pretend, learn buzz words and get cheap cert. Doesn't mean you know WTF you are doing, or can do the job. Like the video says, look out for people just peddling courses. If it sounds really juicy and too good to be true, it is.
This video is a good way to get people to view your videos.
Today I passed my CISSP at 100 questions. This mindset training of how to break down questions and think like a manager was instrumental to my success. Thank you!
I totally agree
i had no option except to like and subscribe
Love this video , thank you ! Taking my exam in the beginning of August !

I agree completely with you. And I keep telling my students to start with the basics which are computer networks. But most of them won't understand and think they'll be cyber security analysts in just a sec 😂😅

You are absolutely correct. There is even more - most of the basic (and then advanced) training is free. For example, CISCO has a free training platform covering Networking quite well. Same for IBM.
you have earned my subscription ..you real bro..no sugar coating and quick fixes
The link in udemy is still in Beta but it is not free.
On point
I agree, most of the IT security courses are just money grabbing schemes, at best the whole IT security training industry and their current security threat model(pentesting, monitoring, incident response cycle, risks assessment,etc..) is a just a combined gatekeeping and early detection program... If you don't like solving puzzles, maths or have no intellectual curiosity about how computers and networking actually work to start with, becoming a legit IT security specialist(nevermind expertise....) is going to be a long, costly and hard road. You will be able to fake it for a while but at some point you will be exposed if you don't know what you are doing or talking about, unless you are a corporate ladder climber, you can just reinvent yourself after every failure... Remember, a hacker is a person who likes to understand how things actually work without or beside the user manual; if you don't have the passion or drive for it, save your money and search hard for something you actually excel at and that satisfies your passion or drive. Otherwise start there:"Operating systems: three easy pieces" and build an os from scratch(Linuxfromscratchdotorg), the art of assembly language(Randal Hyde),learn C and python then get a copy of "Hacking, the art of exploitation" while studying for the Cisco entry level certification with your own home virtual lab, then after 1 year of intense pentesting(home or cloud lab), take your OSCP and if you fail the first times, try again until you succeed. This strategy is many-fold: to get you into an actual security-related job(networking) so you can get a foot through the door if you have never worked in IT before, get a decent paycheck fast to be able to carry on studying and stay motivated, get your hands "dirty" and your brain in problem-solving mode. Self-studying is the hacker or security guy #1 SKILL. If you can learn by yourself to build an os from scratch, setup an operational homework virtual lab(basic infra etworking),read and understand assembly code, writing safe C(programming) and decent python (scripting) and crown it all with a Cisco cert(doable in 6 to 12 months), you will be able to hold your candle when it comes to the technical side of a IT security position.
Hey I have a question regarding your course. I see that it is still in progress because there are some topics that are not included yet like troubleshooting. Do you recommend I watch other free courses like professor messer until it is complete?
No. It will be done by this weekend.
@@TechnicalInstituteofAmerica Sounds good. I am looking forward to it because you explain things very well👍
hearing a lot of ppl with that mentality, the're forgetting the essentials, even calling you a freak when you mention an mac address or any topic regarding to networking i must say.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣holy crap
