Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yeah this fotade is from one 2.6h powerline inspection flight. On those flights is pure production and time management so its rare that we do perform any landings more than when we go for refuel. 🙂 will keep in mind for the next one thought! Thanks for the feedback 👍

Hi Kevin, the pescados are a great pair of skis. Id say for being the wide kind of ski they are, they do very well!! I do however recommend not using frame bindings. Go for shifts or look and they will follow and respond better! Absolutely loved em. Today I ski vision 108 and Very much looking forward to testing this upcoming session!

Hi Alestair, Well, heres one! ;) It really depends on what youre offering. A piece of advice is to select pilots who have done a few tours. There are 2 groups on facebook - Tuna pilots and tuna spotter helicopter pilots. Youll find most of us here. May I ask what nationality on the ships? Which type will you be operating?

Me too, miss Japan soooo much!

Hello! We went all on our own, we spent 10 days in Niseko living at Niseko Wow Lodge, which was alright. The lodge supplied transfer to- and from the airport. If youre looking for luxury you might have to look further. Then we flew with Japan airlines to Narita and from there train to Nagano, from Nagano you hop on a bus to Hakuba station. Lots of great guides available online :) Good luck and enjoy your trip!! Please make a video and post it ;)

Hi Todd, yes well few industries are fair... Its rare that the helicopter is efficient on the sets, most of the time the fish just submerge and theyre gone. Id say you scare the fish more often than you catch it with the helicopter. But the asians are very stubborn and tough to convince.

Hi Rupert! First of all, thanks for the kind words. They hold up very well, in fact the 500 is basically the only machine lasting through those harsh conditions. Many other models wont. In the 500 the construction makes the water run straight through it. So there is nowhere the water is "stored" in the fuselage. Compared to, for example the B206 where theres a whole floor on the "m/r xmsn" deck where water wont drain. Procedures out there are that you have to wash the machine after every flight, every evening before "sleepitimea" and every morning before 1 st flight. We also overconsume WD40 to prevent salt from even attaching to fuselage and components. However Ive seen some nasty pictures of what can happen if you dont take these counter measures seriously. But with the company I was with, the fishingcompany and boat owners MUST account for using alot of the freshwater for the helicrew. Otherwise they wont get a heli onboard =) Besides that every boat, at least from this company - keeps alot of spareparts onboard.
