First boom was delayed, the rest is done as normal. Decided to put the inputs on screen, thought I'd test out my editing skills. Took a bit to put this out, but here you go! As usual, done with a DualSense Edge controller.

Took the time to post this hard combo as a separate video to my upcoming post on combos against heavyweight characters. I’m in the editing phase of the video, and wanted to include some new editing techniques onto it- hoping it turns out amazing! Here’s another variant I’ve been working on with the microwalk boom loop. The beginning is what makes this more challenging than the microwalk itself, but it did bring my damage up slightly close to 73%. Just to improve on the original microwalk combo; integrating the launch kick more instead of b.hp like in the previous microwalk combo. Definitely is possible to online! Done with a Dualsense Edge Controller.

I think you win by default if you pull that combo in a real match

is it easier to do the microwalk if you do it that way? Assuming you meant the first leg of the loop (cr mk, cr lp, boom, etc etc). As opposed to the usual st HK, cr MP, boom, etc etc)?
My concern at that time was st.HK boom loop not reaching or was not fast enough, so I did a boom loop that I knew was faster and easier for me to perform the microwalk. You could as well do DR into bazooka knee(b.lk) into two cr.lp boom, cr.mp light boom into a microwalk. You could still do any boom loop to do a microwalk, but cr.mk was the fastest move
Is the micro walk standing heavy needed for this to combo to link ?
St.Hp is the micro walk, before the second drive rush
Why? You can do simple heavies with CA and do 61% 😂 is all of that really worth it or even practical in a real match just for extra 3%? I get it it’s for swag but it’s a waste of time to learn.
You give me a great idea, all the combos I do are for swag😂 but definitely are fun to perform. Extra unnecessary steps to win!

I think you can get more damage if you cancel something into that drive impact. Not 100% sure but i think broski said that hits that do gray damage on their armor doesnt count as scaled damage. So its kust and extra hit plus everything you did in the combo
Sadly, as I got the combo first try, it still gets to 6515, I can perhaps try a different loop for it to adjust accordingly, but it still sadly brings it to 6515. :(

I know you can do it man! It took me like 3 days(5ish hours a day) of me trying to figure out the timing for the down forward HK loop. Consistency is key!

How can I land 4 boom in a row? In 0:13 i can see you landed, but somehow when I try to do it, I always one frame short after cr.lp. , therefore my cr.mp. doesn’t hit.
For me, I would do the first cr.mp as early as possible, just don’t mash it or else your opponent would be airborne. Keep trying!
@@CosmonautSpiral I’ve just tried to practice with this flow: “dr.cr.mp. + cr.mp. + lp.boom + cr.lp. + lp.boom”. And the last boom gives me 4 frame advantage which is not enough to link the upcoming cr.mp , it needs 6 frame. Could you ensure this flow is the same or not on you as well? Just want to find out why it’s not happening on you but happening on me.
I’ve done this without an issue; it’s important that input release check is not set to ‘on’. It matters that you perform the cr.mp as early as possible. It’s hard to explain but this was as well discussed within the Guile Discord.

I've been trying to learn variations of this combo. Thanks for including the inputs, but I'm still a little lost on one part of the combo (trying to figure out where the micro walk is as well). How do I get the cr.MP to connect after the following sequence downforward.HK Drive Rush Cancel into cr.MP cr.MP light boom, cr.LP light boom. I can get the light boom, but I'm +5 and the cr.MP is 6 frames to start up. Hope that wasn't confusing, thanks in advance.
Not confusing at all- the down forward.HK boom loop is what a lot of people have difficulty learning at first. For me, what worked was for me to do cr.MP as early as possible, don’t mash it obviously because it’ll make the opponent airborne. It won’t make you far enough to finish the string; my recommendation would be to lab that boom sequence normally first to get the timing right, and then you can be confident in landing it. The microwalk is the St.HP that I execute before the third drive rush 0:07 . In rare cases depending on spacing, that specific boom loop won’t land due to spacing or the moves you’ve done initially that would make the combo drop(eventually after I upload a combo guide, I’ll consider doing a video on untrue boom loops or something along the lines).Do take the time to execute it in the lab, you got this!

I'm confused about the DI combo that cr.mp cr.mp Llpboom, then cr.lp lp.boom. When I'm trying this combo, after cr.LP perfect LP boom, I get only +5, cannot link next cr.MP. I think there should be some trick.
When the drive rush before cr.mp cr.mp is performed, mash cr.mp so you can do it as early as possible. Then continue the loop as you normally would. That’s what was easy for me to land it more consistently and for it not to drop.
@@CosmonautSpiral Well I successfully got the cr.mp combo. Now I meet second question, after the first DR cr.mp combo, I see you can perform a st.HP and DR again. It looks like I'm a bit far so I cannot hit the opponent with HP. Do you walk a little forward after the boom?

@@loongtsing262 yup! Just move up a tiny bit, you’ll get it. Even for me it’s not consistent, I still work on improving my microwalk.
