Regarding the hole on the bottom of your tote bag - it's only for emptying the whole thing out into another container. There is no way to stop the flow once it's opened. Ask me how I know. LOL

I use to do hydro seedling we would hay bomb it after being seeded, it was a big hay blower on a trailer towed by a big rig, it’s to hold moisture that’s what they do all along highways specially new highways and it also holds the soil in place in steep hills and rocks from washing out and birds eating the seeds

Is it the seeds that give the green color to the mixture or are there other things that are useful for planting? Could you please write the list of package contents written on the label on the seed package?

I keep thinking of what you already have that could be converted as a funnel into the water tote opening you cut. I have no idea, but you should know what can be upcycled into a funnel so that the hydroseeding material can be scooped into the tote more easily. If nothing else, cut open a feed bag and curl it into a cone and tape it?

A suggestion on adding the hydroseeding paper/pulp mix. Maybe put the whole block in before you add the water. Once its filled up and absorbed then run the pump to get it suspended and mixed up ;) Would be a lot faster, less messy, and probably a lot less manual labor intensive.

when you see some of the "professional" hydro seeding applications you notice that they seem to be heavily green or more so than what you are doing . not making the comment that you are doing it wrong just an observation.
