Are LS Engines better than traditional small/big block engines GM made? Which LS Engines fit best in place of a small block engine, and which LS engine is best fit in place of a big block engine? I have a 2nd Gen Z28 with traditional carb that I'd really like to modernize and modestly increase the horsepower on (for a daily driver car, and sometime tow vehicle for my jet boat), but I'm put off by the confusion of the LS engines and what would be a best upgrade? I dislike where the accessories are located on the LS engines I've seen, I'd really prefer to keep alternator up high on passengers side with AC compressor up high on the drivers side.... can that even be done with an LS swap?

If ypur brake pedal is low you need to adjust the rear brakes. For power steering pump get a ac delete pulley for a 90s chevy truck. Use it to replace the ps pump, it wont be a direct replacement but you can fab up something.

Like to know what wire you use to get power to the coils like it would be for a distributor thanks so far know one has ever shown that thanks in advance

You problemly are done with the power steering pump but i looked it up and you can get a threaded vent plug from Grainger or hydroma has vent plugs been in similar situations just trying to help

Hey have you ever swapped new edge mustangs like 99-04? Got any tips?

Have you run into transmission code issues? Mines pulling a p0785 3-2 shift solenoid code, I've heard people having issues with pins being in the wrong spot.

Been toying with swapping a couple of my cars. This just made me want to pull the trigger. Didn’t think the wiring would be that easy!

I've compared the Silverado map sensor to the Camaro map sensor. The plugs look identical. Will the computer throw a code being it's not the right one did you use a Silverado standalone harness and computer?
