CRF300L rally review after fist dirt ride
Did about 95 miles this morning, mostly dirt, bike performed very well, pretty docile on the trails, front suspension very soft and bottomed out multiple times on Old Flowers road (look it up on CZcams if you want an idea of what type of terrain it is).

2005 Mercedes E55 AMG review, buying and tuning.

About 35 minutes of me rambling about my e55 AMG. Superb car. 76 mm clutched supercharger pulley. Split cooling system. Upgraded supercharger coolant pump. Larger supercharger heat exchanger. 550cc injectors. Supercharger belt wrap kit. 92mm (hellcat) throttle body. Colder grade spark plugs. Short stainless headers FTP Intake system. ECU tune by VRP. TCU tune by someone who I can't remember. Al...

1969 Honda CT90 Trail 90 review / differences

A few thoughts on a 1969 Honda CT90, pointing out some of the differences on this model/year. It did indeed sell for $1800 about three days after I posted it.

Installed CT110 motor into a CT90. Needed the 110 coil, 110 CDi and wiring, CT110 exhaust, CT110 engine guard, CT110 carb & manifold and CT110 air intake rubber.

No idea what this song was called, maybe it could be titled "In your face motherfucker", this pretty much set the tone for the whole night. Interesting show with an awful lot of shredding. He did covers of Red House and Smoke on the Water and massacred those two. I had to go and get some toilet paper to put in my ears it was so fucking loud. I enjoyed it but I don't think I'll bother seeing him...
Glenn Hughes Highway Star Live Oriental Theater Denver 13 Sept 2023

Glenn Hughes plays Highway Star at the Oriental Theater 13 Sept 2023. Celebrating 50 yrs of Burn (technically it was released in '74 but it's close enough). Band was good, drummer was excellent, real life version of Animal from the Muppets. Elderly audience, mostly male, a lot of pot bellies, facial hair and baldness. Was hoping to get some records signed by Glenn but drummer told me he f*cked ...
Pair of Honda 1966 CT90 trail 90 review and thoughts

A few words on a couple of 1966 CT90 I picked up the other weeks. Nothing stellar, just a little different than the later models. Sold them to be exported to D&K in the UK. Maybe I say 1969 in the video, I mean 1966. Maybe it's a backwards facing carburetor.

CT110 BDR dry run with camping kit

Took a 250 mile round trip (75% dirt roads) up to Long Draw road to camp. Camped at Long Draw campground. Tried out my camping set up to see if I had everything which I did. Everything performed perfectly, I had everything I needed. Without food and drink, front load was 11 lbs, rear load was 39 lbs, could trim 5 lbs or so off pretty easily.

Snapshot of James McMurtry and his band at Boulder Theater Aug. 9th 2023. Good show, set list similar to last year, centered around The Horses and the Hounds. Nice sound, good support act (Bettysoo) fun night out with Davy, Sarah and K-Dogg.

2002 Honda CBR1100xx Super Blackbird review
Great machine. Please, let me ask you about spare parts availability.
Used all over Australia mate, not just the outback.
At least take if for a ride for a video like this.
Excellent. Now, if you could post a video actually 'showing' (in detail) the conversion process, along with the subsequent kill switch remedy, you'd have many thousands of views and subscribers. Thanks for the upload.
I had one just like this and I would love to get one again. I was 14 and growing up in small town Oklahoma. This gave me freedom and fun.
😂Man you make my day. Very nice mod 👍👍👍👍
I like it, I still ride it regularly though I think it will be relegated to be my commuter bike when a Transalp shows up. But that could be a while.
Youve had/have so many cool bikes nice to see another vid, sounds like the CRF will be solid when you get the suspension dialed
I bought a new 1981 model in 1984. Loved this bike. Ran great!!
Awesome video. Picked up an '05 from CoPart. Wrecked, of course.. Fun cars, fairly affordable parts...

Came for the Goldwing info, liking and commenting for the AT&T rant!
It's 2024 and this is still a great, informative, and interesting review.
Love the show. Regard from Ireland 😊
I bought at new one, wheh it came out.. Loved it.
I did a stator on my 81 in 2009 and then it went again just 7500 miles later in 2011... it was an engine out job for me. but the intake noise at high rev is absolutely sublime
Brilliant clip thanks. Do you still have the Pan or did you trade her in for another?!
At 100,400 miles that alternator gave out so I sold it cheap. I had another ST which I still ride today, at 111,000 the alternator gave out on that one too so I put a deep cycle battery in the trunk and leave it on a charger. I have a range of about 250 miles, it does for my work commute which is 45 miles each way. ST1100 is just about my favorite bike of all time.
@@lr882027 Nice! I picked a low miler up last year. One careful owner with a full Honda service history from '98. Just ordered a new rear suspension unit and am treating her to a K&N filter! I use it for days out with my wife. Brilliant bike for touring. I've got a couple of others in the garage for trails and a daily. You live in a beautiful area for biking!
alot are missing part med throttle tuning on these.
Eh?
Splitting the cookling system makes no sense, they may be filled via the reservoir but they don't mix.
Heat travels from hot objects to cold objects, the SC runs lower temps at the engine, makes mucho sense.
@@lr882027 Take an unmodified version for a run, feel the radiator then feel the IC heat exchanger', the heat exchanger will be way cooler because they don't mix.
516 ft lbs of torque, 700 nm.
If the smaller the pulley makes more power, than why not just remove the pulley? It should make like 1000 horsepowers.
I like your father in law!
Handy to know..nice Video..Thanks.
Are you still happy you got your vaccination?
Fucking great review! Exactly what i want to do so save me alot of time researching!
Im just looking for e55 content !
I'll make a video on mine on the next few weeks, I keep meaning to, just never get round to it.
OMG is this a real thing. A Vtwin boxer with carbs you can get at? Shaft drive. Looks like you could drop the engine right out of that thing. I want one. I got here from someone who had converted one of these to electric. I have an 82 CM450. I think I got Kenda Challengers on mine. You can totally neglect those Comstock rims. Fugly but zero maintenance compared to my bloody gorgeous spoked wheels. My tach cable broke while sitting a long time.
community tab for pics Mine has a weird clicking sound going on like a relay or solenoid clicking, and stuttering lurching going on at that certain low rpm. Like from a low RPM crossing some level the relay clicks and it lurches. Once you're past that and driving it's fine, it's only at some low range you get this weird relay or solenoid clicking when crossing some rpm threshold. Otherwise it's a swiss watch.
When you said everything is easy to get to, I said... that's exactly what you want in a motorcycle, that they don't do any more. Compare against my Honda Shadow where everything is crammed in there like sardines in a can so it looks pretty. Rather have a fugly motorcycle that's easy to work on than a pretty one that is a royal bltc4!
Claimed 44 hp
Shoutout for Loveland, Co. My childhood home
Love the vibe of this video. just like chatting with a guy who likes bikes
I just bought a 1982 naked ,had 2 fully dressed before 85, 83 .The 82 is more fun to ride.
i still ride it today,big fun !
The only thing i dont like about the 125 is it does not have the high low ,or the qwik release handle bar
69 was the change
I'm a fan of these and had a Silverwing 500. I'd still like to have a CX500 Custom but every time I consider getting one at 452 lb, I don't pull the trigger on one because my Nighthawk 650 is 463 lb, and even my Nighthawk 750 is 474 lb. and I can't justify it, and my Yamaha Radian 600 is at 409 lb. So it's a hard sell for me at the prices being asked for one in Virginia in good condition like yours.
Too cool !
I made it 33 seconds in and had to stop. I wanted to see a bike review not some tool swallow snot endlessly
I bought out in Phoenix fo$ 750 still had 100,k good at the time just changed alternater and oil, like the 650 because . computer as one. 🎉
The FI bikes are thirstier, I have an '01 and 35 Mpg is the best I can manage
You seem to have a lot of negative for this machine yet, you still own it and ride it
nice explanation thank you very much!!
GORGEOUS BIKE 👌👌👌
Did you keep heated grips when you changed the original bars?
Nope
Brilliant!!
looks like a facking nightmare 😢
Pretty much all the facts you come up with are wrong. 😁. Actually quite impressive in itself. Fantastic fine 550. Anyone who hasn't tried driving a healthy XT550 unfortunately doesn't know how amazingly good the engine pulls.
Good report, shame about the swearing
I have the kenda challenger on my GL500. They definitely beat the 7 year old dry rot tires the bike came with when i picked it up. What set do you recommend for the CX500? Im looking at the dunlop 404 for my next set
404s last forever, not a great tire in the wet but should be good enough.
Great review. I've just bought my 2002 F650GS Dakar. Loving it. Cheers.
It was a good bike, I put a lot of miles on it
My 1971 had drum brakes, well at least in NZ it did.
What an awesome bike. I owned a 1971 Suzuki T350 gold colour bike. And I still miss it after all these years. Cheers.
