1992 was the time I got my Mega Drive and it was a glorious time with Sonic 2 with my childhood friend along with Streets of Rage 2.

Myself and all of my friends owned PlayStations at the time, I didn't know anyone with a Saturn here in Ireland. It was only through emulation that I discovered just how great a library the Saturn had. It's now one of my favourite consoles ever.

The Mega Drive is my favourite Sega console but man most of the launch lineup was lame with Golden Axe, Thunder Force II and Revenge of Shinobi being the only ones to really show what the Mega Drive could do and i think Alex Kidd in The Enchanted Castle was ok and it’s THAT bad and I like the music but graphics are rather unimpressive and it’s not a surprise with it being a 2 Megabit game and an overall low effort Sega games. Altered Beast isn’t that bad either despite the hate it gets and the MD port is still the best home version. About World Championship Soccer, it was known as World Cup Italia 90 in Europe for the Mega Drive.

Disney got a real good slice of the 16 bit gen- Sega had the exclusivity of the Castle of illusion series and Nintendo had the exclusivity of the Magical Quest series, nice work.

I recall Transbot being exclusive, and a Sega basketball game that was pretty fun

Their launch line up was pathetic . Just about as pathetic as n64 . Which only had like 3 launch titles . The pansonic 3do on had 1 title , wack !!!

For me the problem was too much Arcade focus. There was simply no reason to get a Dreamcast. Compared to the PS1 the DC was far stronger and the graphics were way better, but the PS1 had so many better games. The sales for the PS1 became even stronger because of the software available for it. Between '99 and '01 the PS1 sold 50 million times.

Interesting. I personally don't like the pansonic 3do . Rhats the worst console i ever played. With barely any good games on the system. I sold my 3do 2 years ago . I got $50 in store credit for it and sold all my games that i had. I had half of its library around 85 games . Ik there was around only 165 -170 north American released titles on the pansonic 3do . But the system wasn't able to play cds and it couldn't play dvds either . So it was just a game console. It sucked though because the majority of the games were not good.

1:26 Abe’s Oddysee does this. It wants you to play a certain way. If you get good you can blast through it. Those two Oddworld ps one games and Stranger’s Wrath are all time favorites of mine.

Toy Story was really fun and the animation was great for the time. I forgot all about it until this video.

I was 7 when boogerman came out so needless to say it was perfect for me and the neighbor kids. I used to ride my bike to blockbuster and rent it all the time. My mom would never buy it lol. You should do a video on that awesome game for the genesis that was these 2 kids stopping pollution and it was McDonald’s inspired I believe. It had you collecting McDonald’s arches. Can’t remember the name but it was a really good platformer. EDIT: the game was called Global Gladiators.

I remember my grandma got a new computer in the mid-90s that came with a version of Quake and I was blown away by the graphics. I didn't think non-gaming computers could run games like that.

Too many of these still aren’t on backwards compatibility on Xbox One/Series X. I’d most like to see Crazy Taxi 3, JSRF, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. Outrun would be cool too.

I'm tired of hearing from retro game youtubers that these games might not be visually impressive. Come on, people who care about the graphics don't watch these channels. If someone clicked on your video, he/she will be impressed, because we understand that the game is either fun or not. The graphics, year of release, number of polygons have nothing to do with the quality of the game.
