Are these high lift blades or mulching blades?
Watching this for the first time 8 years later
How did you determine how much oil your household uses daily and what do you keep your heat on during the different seasons or weather?
I have the heat start at 5:30am to 70 degrees, that's when we get up. Then at 7:00 AM it goes to 68 degrees. Then it goes to 70 again at 2:30 pm. Then 68 at 6 PM then 66 at 10PM until 5:30 AM. My boiler has a .75 GPH (3/4 of a gallon) nozzle. Google nest tells me how many hours the heat kicked on for, but that doesn't mean the boiler was on the whole time. For instance, on March 16th, our heat only ran for one hour. So, we likely used about 1/2 gallon for heat. Our hot water also uses oil. That's about 1/2 gallon because everyone turns the bathroom into a steam room while taking a shower. These are only estimates, probably +/- 20 %.
Do get a little vibration when engaging the mower blades
How old is the machine?
Which store was this?
It was in poughkeepsie ny, JC Penney is abandoned too. I give Macy's another year, if that.
You’re a piece of crap. You do have to calibrate it. 😂
You’re an idiot you have to hit it twice
How do I keep my digital display light on? Mine goes out when it's dark in the house. Once I shine light back on it,the display lights come back on.
Is it suppose to turn off during high heat mode? Mine keeps turning off.
It will likely cycle on and off. I have not used that method. I set it for 70 at night. Works well. Turns off and on automatically.
@@mrbackyardmechanic3956 Thank you!!
I can`t believe people that try a product wrongly and because of that it`s garbage!! I use this constantly with no problem. Do some research and find out how to use a product dude.
Thank you so much for saying that the TOP of the disk tells you how much oil you have! I have been wondering (and worrying!) about that for years!!!
Keep in mind, +/- 20 Gallons or so.... Glad I could help. Happy New Year !
@@mrbackyardmechanic3956 Thanks and Happy New Year to you too!
I really don’t see how that’s the case. Under the yellow float is a little arrow and that indicates where the level is. I have two tanks tied together and the top of the float was just slightly under a half yet it took 366 gallons out of 550 to fill. If the top of the float was the mark then I should have only filled 275 max. Also when the tanks are full then the little arrow is at the full mark and the top of the float is at the top of the tube.
Thanks for the comment. Just went down to take a look closer at my gauge. I don't see any arrows. Perhaps you have a newer gauge? I've been on auto delivery for several years now, but it's good to know how much oil one has, although I'm sure not 100% accurate.
I see the arrow on yours in the video below the yellow float. It’s a golden color
Nope. That gold colored thing is a Crimp. You're funny though. It's the top of the yellow indicator +/- 20 gal. Or so ... 😅😁😬😅
Promo'SM
I just received one also from amazon and am so pleased. Never liked these type of heaters but this one is a game changer.
Agreed...
Thank you so much! Need 🙏🏻it to learn how to read this properly!
Glad I could help.
If you was a man you should of walk your ass over there and talk to them know your the kind of person that trys to make someone look bad
I think that if your neighbor ignores your concerns, once you politely bring them to his attention, he is an ass.
We used to chat while mowing our Lawns and when I noticed what he did I expressed my concerns politely and he declined to do anything. It makes no sense. The center of his roof line is closer to the front of the house which is also downhill
Did you plan on the water staying at the top of the hill when you purchased?
To just be honest. we now get storms creating 1,2, 3 inches of water. For every 1 inch of water, based on the square footage of his roof and the square footage of the patio pitched toward a french drain draining into the 4" pipe on the left, I get 2,157 gallons of water. i didn't expect that when we purchased. That water does not soak into the ground.
Jerk
ask them to help you maintain the original swale that is in the plan set with the county.
Take advantage of the free irrigation, and plant some things that will benefit from it. Who knows, the guy might be an ignorant doofus. He also could be a great fishing buddy or a pain for the next 20 years, depending on how you approach it.
Was thinking of a 10 inch Bern, but we are talking thousands of gallons of water for each 1 inch of water we get.
Definitely wrong!
I live in the desert and people fight for the water so I can’t relate
It's illegal to put anything on a neighbors property including water. Literally if they intentionally do it it's illegal.
It sucks but I don’t think it’s illegal, as long as the pipes don’t terminate on your property, since all he’s doing is dumping the water towards the edge of his property then it flows downhill. Like another comment mentioned you could see if he would split the cost to run the pipe longer away from your property, but I don’t see anyone paying the whole cost or paying to rerun it to the front of his property when it doesn’t affect him, unless he is just a really good neighbor
🤡
I talked to an engineer, he mentioned a "notice to remedy" be sent to the town and cc the neighbor.
Wrong wrong and wrong. He is eroding your property.
If the ground is naturally lower on your property than his property, then yes, it is legal to drain water toward. Talk to your neighbor to see if he would be willing to split the cost to run a 4" perforated underdrain from his pipes and your low area that collects water down to a lower spot on your hillside. Just my 7 years of civil site design land development.
The other side of his house slopes to daylight and the street. I asked him to simply turn them around, offering my free help. He declined.
It's called controlled drainage, there is nothing wrong with that. It protects there foundation. Look @how green his yard is, ❤. HATERZ GUNNA HATE
Ikr that’s what I was thinking. He got plenty of grass to suck that up .
There is something very wrong with it. The controlled drainage onto our property when in fact, It can be controlled to the front of his house out towards the street.we now get storms creating 1,2, 3 inches of water. For every 1 inch of water, based on the square footage of his roof and the square footage of the patio pitched toward a french drain draining into the 4" pipe on the left, I get 2,157 gallons of water. i didn't expect that when we purchased. That water does not soak into the ground. We have a lot of clay. It crawls across the back onto our property.
A can of foam sealant will fix that
Lol😂
😂
Illegal
Call the county
Yeah that’s illegal
Fucked up
That's illegal. I've lived in 3 states and you can't use your neighbors property for your stiem water runoff
I was stapling screen to 1 1/2 strips. Still have it, still works great, thousands of staples later..
Totally. I bought a grill at Home Depot & they said we can put it together for you. Ok great. I went back to get it a couple of days later - no grill. Ok they’ll get on it. Ok good. Go back another few days later - ok grill is put together - it’s the wrong grill. Ok we’ll fix this. Finally after about 2 weeks it was done & the correct one. The guys they hire don’t get paid that much so they don’t care. After the product is picked up - Home Depot doesn’t care either.
Well you left out the part where they give them no training and demand they go faster no matter how fast they go. Its a fun game called "work".
Why dont they just turn the filter and housing so the filter is down not up.
Poor management as well as associates. When I worked for them , I checked my displays daily during my department walk. Made a lot of retirement $$ there.
You could look for the one that isn't leaking and purchase that one.
I would not purchase one "assembled." They have a 3rd party that hires untrained people. Then, they use cordless impact guns and drills on some parts, which should only be assembled with hand tools.
Yes. I agree
I completely agree. You can’t trust anyone to do shit right anymore. People simply don’t take pride in their work. Thank god I was taught how to do shit myself.
I used to work for a company. I could put together product faster and complete better than the people they hired to put them together. It would take them a week to get 10 to 15 done it took me an hour to get one done lol. I never had one returned in the 8 years
I find it crazy that not only did they pass QC, the people displaying them at Home Depot either didnt notice or didnt care either.
Where's slippin' Jimmy.. 😁
They sit outside for months, shit happens. Its not even slightly crazy. There are no log splitter inspections.
So weird bc I don’t have that charcoal basket. Mine came with flat sheet with holes which is also rusted lol
Got rid of ours about 3 years ago. Rust took over, even with cover... Got tired of the mess too. 😒
Never knew the top of the disk is what ur supposed to go by, I thought it was the bottom
Large sucking sound! Ross Perot
I'm not 40 I'm 35 but I remember sears it's only been gone a few years
Sears has been going out for a really long time , sad but true nothing last forever but they had a great life in Society ❤ R.I.P.
