I refurbished it once 2 years ago with high temp grill paint after sanding a couple of spots and that thing is solid. I told the wife we needed one just because I wanted a new one she said no Ha! It's true.. No need.

So weird bc I don’t have that charcoal basket. Mine came with flat sheet with holes which is also rusted lol
Got rid of ours about 3 years ago. Rust took over, even with cover... Got tired of the mess too. 😒
Spray everything inside and out with oil
It is built like a tank, however the ash pan rusted and the grates started flaking rust.
