Although the story is a touch contrived it is very entertaining with time travel vibes back to a time when people took effort in how they presented themselves and talked with each other in full intelligent sentences. Why have we turned into such self-centered barbarians?

Thanks God I was not child in that time. How brutal the doctor says : Give the little girl back, she is young and she’ll get over it! As if a child is one peace of wardrobe that you don’t like anymore. Rejection can cause a wound in children’s soul for the entire life.

Love the actors, hate the plot where once again, religion, and the power brokers that be of it destroyed a wonderful relationship between a man and a woman by laying the guilt trip on a guy who changed his mind. Sad and very disturbing.

Julie Harris is way too old for the role. Good performance though. Brandon DeWilde was excellent in everything he did. Shame his life was cut short.

I read that Boo Berry's outfit was based on Peter Lorre's from this movie, but now that I've seen it, I think it was more than just the outfit! Toady floats into every scene, often appearing out of nowhere, and vanishes as quickly as he came! He's like a ghostly little marshmallow. Thanks for posting this!
