There’s no way they make it live service. If they do the game will completely die and get negative reviews instantly guaranteed.

Techland not trying to ruin their own game after the same mistake: Impossible

Throw in some Bozak like challenges and trials in the tower raid, maybe even Bozak themed. Each floor would operate similar like it did in the beta, each floor has a different trial, a bunch of floors with a bunch of different trial combos. Not just a big GRE facility you run up instead of down.

Ironic how Tencent a Chinese company is trying to capitalize on Dying Light 2, yet in China they restrict the amount of exp, gold, anything you can earn in game really, the longer you play. More you play, less you earn.

Well then it looks like techland has failed the community of dying light. first they really screwed up the story in dying light 2 which it doesn't feel like the original dying light story at all. its just honest feel like outlast and aiden doesn't have the strong badass potential just like crane does, I mean sure the gameplay is cool fun and the feature details too but the city map is a bit disappointing it's just some psycho cult village town. and now this.. techland is too greedy now they're on EA and activision's greed side they stopped listening to the community the video game industries is falling apart

I don't really care. I'm waiting for the game to come out patched with all DLCs before I play it anyway. If they put a released game into live service mode I just skip it.

I thought I could like Techland because they were original and created masterpieces. Turns out that they're becoming sellouts just like Activision and all the fucking rest of them. It truly breaks my heart that tencent even has anything to do with this. I would've rather they kept the game as is and stopped updating and let it die like that over turning it into a GAAS. Most of the other devs, I didn't really care about. But I cared about Techland. And finding this shit out actually hurts. Like we trusted them. Even waited for them to polish it off and release it perfectly. And they go and pull shit like this. I might play Dying Light 2 one more time, but that will probably be it. At least for a LONG time.

(sees the thumnail of an arrow going down) If I counted the times I have seen this type of video about Dying Light 2 and Techland and then nothing bad happened I would explode...for the love of God let the game be like it is now and let them cook. They are probably making a Chinese version of Dying light 2 as a live service game for Chinese people because Tencent believe it or not has also a say in the development. They are not idiots and they wouldnt make live service version and then deletie the current one. Thats just very stupid and if they would do this they are basically a dead company to their old fanbase. Just look at Terraria. They have one version for the rest of the world and then one vesrion for China specifically with microtransactions because Chinese government simply functions like that and people there dont complain... Nothing to worry about in my opinion on the other hand it would probably improve our version because all the microtransactions and paid stuff would move to the live service version

"The game might die" I beat it and never went back, it's been dead. The first one captured me, the second barely kept my interest at all. Even all the changes and additions since I quit playing haven't brought me back. It's sad honestly, I loved the first one so much it just made this one that much more disappointing.

I still the love the game even if dlc 2 is trash i would still play it i put so much time in the game that everything is getting fun

Ali i’ve got a question for people who preorder the game heck even bought the ultimate edition where is what we paid for? even during bloody ties dlc i couldn’t access it for 2 months because i wouldn’t get the quest??

I've followed Dying Light for so long and its just sad to see how we went from one of the greatest zombie games ever made to where we are now. I actually really enjoyed my 170 hour play through of DL2 but just gave up on it in a way I never did with DL. The game already feels too much like a live service game which has really put me off, so for it to go even further down the rabbit hole would kill it for me. I'm sad to say at this point I've started not to care about the massive story expansion, and that's something I never thought I would say or think of a Techland expansion after The Following.

If only the game wasn't that cringe, i literally can't stand the dialogues it's torture for me

What is going on with Dying Light 2? In short nothing good, while at the same time everything that we predicted would happen when Tencent bought Techland. RIP Techland & Dying Light; it was fun while it lasted.

This game has been shit from the very beginning, since its released. I waited for DYING LIGHT 2 which was created by Chris Avellone and the other good guys from Techland(Trashland). And the saddest thing is that Dying light 2, which was shown to us at E3, could have been released in 2019-2020! 4-5 YEARS AGO!!

Like can the UN come at them the sa,e way they did apple. They destroy everything they touch. They have had me worried about Warfra,e for awhile but at least Digital Extremes has a lot more control over Warframe
