Dying Light 1 almost peaked yesterday at the same player count it had when it launched in 2015! Im glad that the sale on steam have made more people find this amazing franchise and people like me to go back and play it again. Great video as always!
I laughed when I saw the player count of Dying Light and said out loud "Dying Light 2 wishes to have that with its big updates". Dying Light 1 small repetitive events get more players than Dying Light 2's big game changer updates. Techland have to make DLC 2 exceptional and it seems pretty promising if I'm honest. It has to be amazing or else DL2 will be that one zombie game that everyone forgot (except for Techland's cult). It'll sky rocket their sales and they can develop DL3 but with a better development understanding. Unless Tencent does something...

If this is based off the script leaks from a while back, Tymon already confirmed in an interview that the story has changed a lot since those leaks. So there might be more missions

I'm not usually a fan of multiverses, but in this case, it would be dope to see characters from the original game that died, or even their alternate universe selves, come back and try to help the people in this universe in DLC2 or another future installment. Also really hoping for sentient volitiles to make a comeback, I loved that twist in The Following so much(yes I know that Aiden and Waltz are sort of like sentient volatiles, but they're just not as cool as the Mother was).
I know this is a bit off-topic, but the addition of firearms is the only thing that disappointed me in Dying Light 2. If they fix the huge plot hole this causes, I see no problem with it. I just think that, regardless of anything else, firearms should be extremely rare and ammunition should be almost impossible to find. To compensate, they could be extremely lethal, being the most powerful thing you could have in your hands. I would also love to see more improvised firearms. I find it impossible that there wouldn't be at least one skilled engineer creating a monopoly of makeshift weapons for the factions.
I feel like if they add to be able to go in fury mode when we want, I think it should be unlocked after you complete the game, because it would make no sense Aiden to be able to control this, its visible during cutscenes and moments where he's unable to control it when it happens, like when he met Waltz in the tunnel with Aitor, when he was with Veronika and it would make no sense to be able to control it during that period, so I think the fury mode should be unlocked after completing the game. And the way to activate the fury is when Aiden is at low immunity and taking an immunity booster or stepping in a UV spot you turn back to normal and there's a cooldown for it if you wanna be in fury mode again
i would say the rifts seem out of place but then again the dlc does say the virus started from a talking space chicken that crash landed so i wont question it

Im afraid of the multiverse part, Techland isn't particularly know to have the best and coherent stories around. Im fine with the side funny Easter egg quest being all wacky, but i truly hope they won't go for the Multiverse route cuz i don't believe they got the juice to mess with it.

I love the game in its current state but Im always down for improvements, I have beat it 3 times and sunk hundreds of hours into it. The following had 11 main story missions, if its true that DLC2 will have 8, its close but a smaller dlc.
I hope it doesn't mean its fully rushed.
